The pump & float came in separate boxes. Both were well packaged. The float has to be attached to the fountain pump and came with all the hardware for assembly and good assembly instructions. The float also came with tie-off ropes already attached to the float. This fountain puts out a nice symmetric pattern and the pump is quiet. We have used this model fountain for several years and have been happy with them. The prior fountain was getting old and it will be held as a backup spare.

I would highly recommend this fountain. Works as described.

We have quite a few geese that occupy our pond. We started with a couple...we called them Brad and Angelina. Then we found a lone baby goose on the road and brought him home. We called him Balloo. The following year, Brad, Angelina and Balloo returned (with girlfriend), giving birth to six others. We thought ..... awwwww! How cute! Fast forward 8 years, and our pond supports a whopping 9 dozen geese, give or take, and our awwwwwness has been depleted. Now they are those fr&ggging floating outhouses! Despite regularly tossing in both Pond Clear and Cutrine Plus, the surface algae continued to flourish. This year, though, we bought a Kasco fountain, and the algae is once again under control. We thought the geese would hate it, but they seem to appreciate the cleaner water. Guess my next purchase will be a hunting license.

On the first part of the description, it states "LIGHTED" then below it states lighting options available.This is not very clear to the consumer - I had to wait until I received the package to see if it had lighting or not - It does NOT have lighting and you must buy a lighting package (another $1000.00)

I've had this fountain for 3 years and it is such a joy. A few days ago it started struggling so I unplugged it. The warranty was off but Pondliner (the seller) gave me Kasco's customer service number. Emily was great!! She asked several trouble shooting questions, and since the power supply was good, she suggested I take the top bowl off and look inside for debris. Sure enough, a small stick washed in during a recent downpour (or the ducks that sit on it stuck it in there). I pulled out the stick, put the cover and bolt back in, and it was just like new. I highly recommend this fountain and Kasco in general---GREAT customer service!!!!

The media could not be loaded. It came in a pretty large heavy box and and first it’s a little overwhelming, but just follow the directions and lay everything out on a flat surface and you will need someone to help you bring it into the pond and get it nice and stable. Some concrete blocks and rope and it’s not moving for anything. Took me a short afternoon altogether.

I love that this fountain came with the control timer. If you have an outlet beside your pond then the hard work is over. I had to wire up a circuit to mine, easy for me but some should consider a professional. Once that was in my wife dragged it out to the middle of the pond on the SUP and dropped 2 blocks in the water for mooring. Then we plugged it in and enjoyed the fountain. Great product so far and we really enjoy the spray. We will add lights at a later point.

We have a 1/3 acre pond. We wanted something that looked very nice but also reliable. We looked all over. Auction sites, pond places, etc. It came down to this pump was the most reliable and best put together for the $$. A big factor was the motor, impeller and controller. Parts are available too and not from a distant country. The price isn't cheap, but it is the type of fountain that you just count on to run, and run and run.....
