Stand by for Titanfall
Titanfall 2 is one of the biggest travesties of 2016. The sequel of this fast paced mech shooter is one of the best sequels with huge improvements adding a new campaign and refinements to the multiplayer. But released a week after Battlefield 1 and a week before Call of Duty Infinite Warfare in the worse release date ever and it shows in low player count and sales which is a shame as Titanfall 2 is one of the best and polished shooters of 2016.The game adds a new campaign which Titanfall 1 didn’t have. In the campaign you play as riflemen Jack Cooper a pilot in training. In a mission gone south your mentor is killed and Cooper is suddenly promoted to a pilot and is partnered up with BT. BT is your standard reboot that takes everything literal which is nothing ground-breaking, however BT is still a great companion. The thing that I enjoyed the most is the level design. Cooper and BT’s war on the IMC takes them to a demolition factory, a combat simulator and my personal favorite in and out of time itself. The story is you regrouping and finding a way to stop the IMC an evil organization who is brutally colonizing the frontier for its resources. The IMC hires mercenaries who served as boss fights throughout the campaign. It runs increible smoothly at 60 frames without any stuttering on a standard Playstation 4, The graphics look great improving the lighting from the last game. The Source engine still looks good despite being a decade old.Multiplayer the part of the game you will spend most of your time with and as much as I loved the campaign it’s over in about 6 hours. Titanfall 2’s multiplayer sets to streamline many components of the original game and add more customization options and titans. It’s fun and smooth with 13 game modes and options for network groups. Although titans have gotten a major nerf and are more like tin cans now with them being destroyed pretty easily which sucks because you on your mech and you're immediately taken down no longevity at all. More titans are added and they all play differently unlike Titanfall 1 were changes were pretty much aesthetics only. Due to release date few people are playing as Battlefield 1 and COD pretty much have a majority of the FPS community. Still multiplayer is not bad at all you could still find a full lobby in certain modes and networks. Still it's a shame that the genius’ at EA thought it was a good idea to release in between COD and Battlefield.Titanfall 2 was one of the best shooters of 2016 with the great level design and fun shooting despite the few flaws it's a shooter worth checking out. If you're just a single player guy then it's a sale as it’s short and has little replay value. If you enjoy multiplayer games than Titanfall 2 is the one of the best games in the market. With the recent price cut and active marketing by EA I hope it can make a comeback from its launch. New content is going to be all free so no season pass and no split community. Titanfall 2 is very underrated shooter that is very good it's more enjoyable than this year’s entry of Call of Duty in space and I would recommend it don’t worry BT isn’t going anywhere.

Amazing game, and is in good shape
Titanfall 2 is a game I’ve been watching friends of mine play for years. After all this time, may of this year my family and I finally got a ps4, and on top of that a ps4 pro. So we have about 8 physical copies of games for our system, and I saw this on here for only $7.29. That absolutely blew my mind that the game was going for this cheap, so that definitely got me to pull the trigger without hesistation. I still paid less than $8 by the time my order was completed. Normal retail price for this game is now $19.99, and even then that is worth paying to have this awesome game. Gameplay and movement is fast, smooth, and you get good at it pretty quick. Being used to the much slower paced CoD: MW remastered, this is quite a considerably faster pace. That may not be for everybody. But me? I love it. Because it’s fun, the weapon designs are awesome, the art aesthetic is really cool, and this game just.. feels like something of its own. The campaign is pretty solid, especially cause there wasn’t one in the first Titanfall game, but even then, Respawn did a good job of giving their fans the single player experience that they wanted. Moving on to the multiplayer, my god this is where the game shines. You have free DLC maps, modes, and weapons, and you have a METRIC CRAP TON of camos to deck put your pilot, Titan, or weapons. There are DLC packs that you can purchase even more camos, and I would say that they’d be well worth it if you’re like me and want to have everything in the game. But mind you, it’s not cheap to get all of them, as they’re going to run you about $24.99 each (last time I checked). Why do all these cosmetics and free DLC matter? Well, these were things that unfortunately killed the first Titanfall game, along with being released at a poor time, around the same time that CoD and Battlefield were clashing yet again. But then enter Titanfall 2: giving fans the free DLC and no season pass, customization, and the single player campaign that was missing. Unfortunately this game almost died as well because EA yet again made Respawn release this game around the time Battlefield 1 and CoD: Infinite Warfare and MWR came out, so eventually this game got thrown under the radar. But earlier this year, Apex Legends came out, and saved not only EA’s sorry butts, but also saved the Titanfall series. With Apex’s recognition, Titanfall 2 began to get more recognition again. Titanfall 2 now has a healthier playerbase. Personally Apex is not my thing, as I don’t like Battle Royale games. But I can appreciate the recognition that it gave Titanfall. Overall, this is easily becoming one of the best video games I’ve ever played in this current generation. Highly recommend the STANDARD version of the game, not the deluxe. Why? Because the deluxe edition in my opinion is a bit overpriced at $40. If the standard version stays below $20, then you can buy the standard game, buy the deluxe edition content on PlayStation Store for about $10. So you’re saving an extra $10 that can go toward something else in the paid DLC for this game. Which by the way, there is a LOT. So I recommend staying away from the deluxe edition unless you want to get the collector’s steelbook, but the standard version is what I recommend. Last but not least, the game and the case has been delivered to me on time and in perfect condition. Looks as brand new as my other new PS4 games. Titanfall 2 deserved game of 2016 in my opinion. It’s that good. You’ll only know by playing it for yourself. Still hesitant? Go for it. Give this game a try. Especially since it’s still going for under $20.
