IPM Direct Moth Bucket Trap & Pheromone Lures (Box Tree Moth)

Didn't come with instructions, but pretty self explanatory. The pheromone lure once out of the packet doesn't need the cap taking off - leave it as is and put it in the green mesh basket - it works perfectly. Put this product outside next to the box hedge ( with water / washing up liquid at the bottom) , and the first night it caught a good 10 months, went away for 3 days, came back and there was a massive amount - it was like moth soup! Highly effective... hopefully it breaks the breeding cycle and saves my hedge!

Our 12 foot long box hedge was decimated by the caterpillars of these moths. We thought we'd try this out of desperation and on the first night it caught 4 moths, 5 days later there were over 30 if not more! The photo was taken 5 days after it was hung up.Every evening it is surrounded by dozens of moths!Absolutely worth the money!

Easy to put together - despite there being no instructions. It's been hanging up for two weeks and nothing in it yet, though it is early in the season, so hard to know how effective it will be.Came with a free sachet of caterpillar killer/Bacillus thuringiensis which did seem to kill some (not all) of the box moth caterpillars, so was happy with that.

I have used these for a number of years and find them to be effective against moths.

The media could not be loaded. Performance wise: superb. I’ve had it up an hour and you can see from the pic and video that it is fully working. There’s at least 30 of them swarming out of the bush they’ve destroyed. Hopefully with this trap, they’ll be less eggs and the leaves can grow back.No instructions. Keep cap on pheromones. Water and washing up liquid at bottom.But until then this weird horror like movie is enjoyable to see.

I have had it for 2 days. First night, it caught about 16 moths. Second night, it caught loads, I didnt even count! I have sprayed my Box plant as well so hopefully that will get the caterpillars and save my plants. It works!I would have liked if it came with instructions but I googled how to assemble it and how to put the lures. Very easy!

not good doesn't work waste of money

Saved my box trees with this simple trap. The pheromones are inside the little tube which looks empty but are embedded into the plastic. It really works.
