Q: Is this dishwasher safe?

I decided not to put the knife in the dishwasher due to the fact that the wooden handle would, over time suffer from the salt, heat and detergent. So I hand was the blade only trying not to get the handle wet. Wipe dry and put back in its box. I don't even put the knife on my magnetic knife rack as I noticed other knives had tarnished where the blade touches the magnet and has rust like spots. So in short the knife would survive the dishwasher but over time the handle will not look as good. It's a beautiful knives and very sharp and I mean sharper than a normal sharp knife.

Q: Where is this knife manufacturered?

I'm guessing it was made in Asia. Even if is from China, doesn't make a difference . Quality is spot on

Q: What is the handle made of? Wood, plastic, etc?

Hi, the handle is a G-10 handle. Obviously, it was made of wood, but it was not made of wood alone, because it would break quickly, so the production process of glue injection was used, and finally it was polished. One step, coupled with ergonomic design, feel excellent.

Q: Is it sharper than an ordinary knife?

Although in theory, ordinary knives and Damascus knives can achieve the same sharpness after polishing, the feeling I get from this knife is that it is invincible, just like it can cut iron like mud. The value of Damascus knives lies in their sharpness and durability.
