Optical clarity excellent for low end astigmatism!
UVEX Genesis Safety Glasses with 2+ Reading Magnifiers are great safety glasses! I use safety glasses in my normal industrial work day in the chemical industry (with ANSI Z87 requirements in place). As I am aging, I also find that some bifocal help with small print on manuals, pumps, and parts is needed on occasion. Normally, I wear glasses that correct a slight astigmatism and use common reading glasses for close work. For work, I always use off the shelf safety glasses. I can get away with normal, non-prescription glasses due the weakness of my current prescription--if optical clarity is good. Normally, "optical clarity" comes at a price (re: Oakley, and sometimes Natives...) so when I find glasses I can wear that seem to contain just enough of my prescription to keep me seeing clearly... I am happy! These UVEX glasses are sufficient optically clear with low parallax along with a bifocal 2+ bottom just right for normal work days timing pumps and reading data plates. The nose pads are comfortable and sticky enough while not accumulating sweat. The side temples are adjustable in length, and are not overly tight or clingy. Connection points are sturdy. I sometimes forget I have these glasses on--they fit well, are comfortable, and provide great clarity.Safety glasses get banged around and after a while you just get tired of looking through blurry scratches--so it is nice that these UVEX Genesis Reading Magnifier Safety glasses should allow more frequent change outs. I will buy again, while looking to a summer pair of similar sunglasses!

Amazing bifocal goggles.
I am a primary care nurse practitioner. Last week, the mandate for COVID-19 protection was enacted that any patient care exposure required eye protection as well as continued use of masks. I have to wear reader glasses. This was a challenge to use goggles over the readers. Had to choose between being able to see up close or distance. Since I need to use my computer for each patient care visit I had to choose to be able to see up close.Fortunately, one of my patients during the week is a respiratory therapist working in the COVID unit. She told me about bifocal goggles. I did not even know these existed! I searched Amazon and looked at several options. Based upon reviews chose these goggles. They arrived today and I am currently using them to practice for the upcoming week. They are amazing! There is plenty of size for the bifocal feature. I can easily view the computer screen and simply look up and see distance. So far the only "down" on comfort is the nose piece, though rubber and flexible, is a little hard on the nose. It may be just me. I will have to settle the goggles over a mask which should offer some additional padding. As far as "sheerness" the visual acuity through the uncorrected portion of the goggles is very slightly altered but nothing that would make me not want to use the goggles or hamper my ability to see without issue. The earpieces are very comfortable. Don't even feel them. I absolutely recommend these goggles. I have not yet used the over a mask so I cannot speak on the fogging issues.

Nice eye protection for aging eyes
Very nice safety glasses. Light weight and they stay in place comfortably. The reader area is a nice size (not too small, not too big) and I don't have a problem switching between near and far. Optical clarity is good and I don't notice any distortion. In general they provide good protection, but I have gotten some dust blown in around the edges. I think this is a problem with all "wrap around" style glasses. I've had these for a few months now, and completed a woodworking project (read lots of dust) in that time. I've worn these for 1 to 2 hours straight, and they are very comfortable. Also, when wearing ear protection, the sides do not bother my ears. Static does tend to attract dust when I leave them out, but they wipe clean and the lenses appear to be pretty scratch resistant. All in all a good value and a good product. I plan to do some outside projects, and will look at Uvex for a tinted pair.

Perfect for nursing and woodworking
So, I'm a nurse and have to wear some sort of eye protection every time I enter a patients room. These glasses fit that bill perfectly. They are lightweight and comfortable enough that I just leave them on all shift and don't have to worry about staying compliant with policy. I actually put them on to start my night and only take them off to clean them. They work just as well for tinkering in my woodshop. There have been many times where I struggled with wearing my readers for close up work and safety glasses at the same time. Often I would go without one of the two. With these I have both on and don't need to worry about switching from one to the other. This, of course, helps to make sure I am both wearing proper eye protection and also don't have to constantly squint or hold the project at arms length so I can focus. The diopter (I think that's what it's called) is low enough on the lens that if I wear just down from the bridge of my nose, I can easily see over it for times that I don't need the magnification. However, it is high enough that if I wear them closer to the bridge I can look through the diopter without having to crane my neck in a weird position.

Poor fit
Frame is too flexible and distorts easily. Fit is affected negatively.
