Gorgeous mat but not good for dry hands!
Firstly, this is a beautiful, luxurious mat. I love the lines as they are useful when it comes to monitoring and maintaining alignment. The texture is as smooth and the cushioning is just nice. I also like how it's longer than most yoga mats so you don't have to keep shuffling down / up the mat during a quick (I don't follow the lines) flow. The bag is also really nice and well made.Despite it being called a travel mat, it is very heavy so not ideal to transport. especially if you're walking or want any weight allowance left in your luggage. I'm 5'1 so not only did I struggle to carry the mat as the yoga bag handle cut into my shoulders, it was also very long on me. I'd be paranoid of whacking other pedestrians if I turned.Prior to parting with a lot of money, I did plenty of research on this mat. I read lots of reviews and articles and watched yogi vlogs all saying this mat was anti-slip - a must have quality in yoga mats. I have quite dry palms and fingers - they simply don't get sweaty, grubby nor wet (Kindly spare the Prince Andrew comparisons. I shudder to think). Alas, between my hands and the mat's dolphin smooth surface there was little friction to be found. I kept slipping forward in every downward dog.I don't see this as a design issue. This is a quality product! The mat is sleek and luxurious and based on the research I did, works for the average sweaty handed person. I realised after this expensive experiment that I need mats with rougher textures. I have found that the Jade travel yoga mat is perfect for my type of hands. It's super light, making it perfect to take anywhere and offers the best grip of all the mats I've ever tried.I'd still recommend the Liforme Travel Mat just not to anyone who has dry palms and wants to carry it with them everywhere. Do I think it was worth the money? Yes... just not in my case.PS : whoever delivered it just chucked it on my parents' doorstep, leaving it free for anyone to pluck. Thankfully my mum stumbled upon it just in time. Not cool.

Lighter than the original and only a little bit slimmer
I would recommend this mat to anyone who takes their mat with them to class. I use mine three times a week at the gym and then more at home. When I'm at the gym I pop it on top of the mats that are provided to give a little more padding but have used it by itself and it's been fine. I love the texture. I purchased the grey but all colours were great so struggled with my choice. I also love the fact that it is eco-friendly and not plasticy like some of the other mats I researched. I have never slipped on this mat. The lines on it help my yoga practice and occasionally see the lady in front of me in class line her feet up using my lines as a guide... cheeky, she should buy her own!!

Quality worth paying for
As a complete beginner, was advised to purchase a lower priced yoga mat. Following research however, I opted to go rogue and chose the Liforme Travel and feel the cost is fully justifiable considering the quality of the product. Is lightweight and compact to carry to classes; rolls easily into the carry case. During class was impressed with both the size, comfort and anti slip qualities (did notice fellow students took smaller mats but had difficulties with the odd slipping mat). The align marking a blessing, especially for a beginner. The ethics of the company was an added bonus.

THE mat for Yogis
Substantial, durable and solid even though classed as travel mat. I bought this version for my wife who prefers the lighter weight compared to the heavier version (which I have but also love) and the difference in weight and portability is noticeable. It comes with a smart and good quality carry bag with shoulder strap. The alignment design is so useful as it gives you many visual references to align yourself with and helps to distance yourself consistently. The grip is fantastic (even with damp hands) although can make feet swivelling a bit of a challenge. I’ve had mine for about a year now and use it for an hour most days and there is very little sign of wear so no issues over quality. Delivery, packaging were fine. If you practice regularly I can only recommend this mat highly.

It weighs the same as my mat I take to class but honestly thought it would be lighter?????
It is a lovely product but pricey! It really smelt awful but after a night airing in the garden that soon went! Love the markings on the mat which will help with alignment etc but as my husband says .... I could have drawn that on my existing mat! It is relatively light weight (3lbs) to take on a plane and comes in a neat carry pack (won't bother packing that) and the surface has a good grip but it is thin so will need to use another mat underneath and its narrower than other mats.If I had realised it weighed the same as my present mat - I do think I wasted my money and I don't remember seeing anything about the weight of this product before purchase?

I’ve found my yoga travel mat!!
I’ve been a yogi for 18 months and I’m going on my first yoga retreat in September 19 and needed a travel yoga mat. I’m 52 and sweat a lot!!! It’s my hormones, so I read the reviews and needed a mat that won’t slip and slide when I get hot and sweaty... to date this mat is brilliant & the guide lines help me in my practice, overall I’m delighted with my mat, no slipping when my hands are sweaty, yes it’s the most expensive mat I bought, but so far it does what it says on the tin ( I’ve had it for 3 weeks and used it 3 times so far) yes, it does have a rubber smell when new, but it’s not a problem for me. I like it a lot!!

Light weight yoga mat with travel bag
I love this yoga mat as it's perfect for travelling and carrying around in airports as part of your hand luggage. I also like the various alignment markers on the mat so I will continue to use it at home and place it on top of my other, thicker mat. This mat also gives you perfect grip even when you're practising yoga outside in a very warm climate. Although it's quite expensive I do think it is worth it since it also comes with a great bag with a very comfortable carrying strap with additional protection for the shoulder.

Non slip yoga mat with alignment
Love the fact that I don’t slip at all on this mat and also like the marking s to help me align better which has made a difference. The matte surface does mark which is irritating although the marks seem to disappear by next use . Quite a heavy mat but great zip bag with shoulder strap helps. Overall glad I invested in this .
