I have now ordered twice from here. I have recommended them to my fellow shrimp loving friends. Shrimp arrived happy and healthy each time, several were (pr)eggnant upon arrival in each shipment. In the second order, there were super small babies too, extra shrimp! I’m beyond pleased. None were DOA either time. They started munching away as soon as they were added to the tank both times. Very colorful with a good mix of colors too. Not sure I will need any more soon, but if I do, I will be returning!!

Very happy with my order. There was a good variety of shrimp - black, red, orange, yellow, 2 types of blue, and a few rilis (red, orange & blue). After a few days, their colors really started to pop.One shrimp did have clado, but I separated her and she is doing fine in a quarantine tank. The rest of the shrimp all arrived very healthy. I would just recommend inspecting them individually before transferring to your tank.The seller also included some food which was a really nice surprise addition.

I have 2 tanks a 5 gallon and a 36 gallon. I wanted to get some shrimp but was skeptical buying them off amazon. They came in perfect condition. They give you extra shrimp incase any are DOA. I had no shrimp deaths and I ended up getting 25 alive and happy shrimp. They also give you shrimp food tablets attached to the bag. Amazing seller and great lively color. I got a variety of colors from yellow, red, blue, clear, mixed colors, and orange. I've already made my second purchase of more shrimp, and I can't wait.

Ordered them when my 100 gallon tank got infested with black beard algae. They came safely in a nice packaging. All of them made it safely to my house which was my main concern. The second was that they may not even touch the algae, I had hoped they began grazing on the algae immediately. I am quite glad with my purchase. None have died so far and it's been about a week. Still some algae remain but it is much cleaner then before, they are a good size, came in different colors red yellow blue and orange. Very fun to watch them graze and clean the tank.

I have ordered twice once from SF AQUATIC and once from Plecos&Beyond.So I will rate my purchases separately.From SF AQUATIC I got a good selection of colors (red, blue, yellow, orange and a single black) and good male vs female ratio as well as sizes. I got a decent amount of large females and a couple of them had eggs which have since hatched and I have several tiny cute babies in red and blue. It was package with care in a several bags and a box that had styrofoam cut to fit the box perfectly I was sent exactly 20 but it arrived with 2 dead.With Plecos&Beyond I doubled my order so I ordered 40. I was sent 41 double bagged and wrapped in several layers of news paper inside the box. One of the bags sprung a leak and some of the shrimp got pinched between the bags but managed to survive. Of the 41 only 1 is struggling and looking as though it may not make it. However I was not sent a good variety of colors and I want to say I got a lot of males but as I got mostly smaller shrimp it is still hard to say. I was sent mostly grey shrimp which was kind of disappointing, followed by several blue and only a few of the brighter colors which I prefer as they are easier to see against my black substrate.So depending on what you are looking for each seller may have its pros and cons. I don't think I would purchase from P&B again just based on the quality of what I was sent. I appreciate that they were healthy and arrived alive but getting 20 greyish shrimp wasn’t what I was looking for! If you don’t care about the color then I will say they seem healthy and in good shape overall.SF was packaged better but came with doa and older shrimp but good colors.If I order in the future I think I will order from the Las Vegas based company as they are the closest.The photo is from my shipment from Plecos&Beyond.Generally it would probably be best to find the seller closest to where you live so your shrimp have less time being shipped around. Also make sure temps are agreeable! :)
