Simple, did the job, good design?

My baby loves this. I hung it above her diaper changer and she's obsessed. It naturally moves, so her eyes are attracted to it. The cards are thick and super-cute. I bought it especially b/c she'll outgrow mobiles, but this one she can use through adulthood for hanging toys while she's a baby, kiddie artwork in school, photos as she gets older, etc. Plus, the cards will last awhile, b/c they have the words of the animals on them, so they'll be good for a little one to practice writing and reading. It's great for people who don't want to throw away a lot of money on "baby items" that will only last a few months or years... and who don't want their house to look like Toys R Us vomited all over their living room.

I love this thing. I bought it for my Grandmother who is in her nineties, so that I could clip family photos to it and hang it in her apartment. There are ten clips, and each clip can hold two 4 by 6 photos(back to back). I taped the photo pairs together back to back with double-sided photo adhesive. When I finished and hung up the mobile, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The mobile is lightweight and keeps the photos in gentle perpetual motion with the air. The photos bump into each other and overlap slightly, but all become visible in turn as the mobile moves. The effect is totally different from photos in stationary frames. I recommend alternating horizontally displayed and vertically displayed photos for the best effect.With the price so absurdly low, I went back and ordered more of these. I am going to put one in each of my children's rooms so that they can put up pictures of special people and places. I also hope to give more of these as gifts in the future.

I wanted to make a very light weight mobile for my baby's room using paper cutouts and light wire AND for a good price. I was not feeling up to making the entire mobile from scratch, so this product provided an inexpensive base structure to work from. I added in 16 fishing swivels (which is enough for one swivel at each major connection) to enable more movement. Without the fishing swivels the two arches kept laying flat against each other and afterward they now sit more at 90 degrees to each other which is what i wanted. I also lengthened the distance between the two main arches at the top and thus giving a better layering effect and dimension to the items attached at the bottom. I attached to the clips woodland creature and Mr. Foxy Fox cut outs that I found on amazon.. in fact there are a number of party supply decorations that would work great for mobiles. I then placed cut out leaves on the back of each animal to add interest. (I made the leaves myself using a paper cutter.) I also stuck some cut out leaves into the top of each triangle to bring color upwards and add further interest. (I could only do this because the coiled wire is tight enough to hold onto cardstock esp if used multiple layers.) I did not put any sounds into the mobile, but if you want you can also add in little chime bells, tiny jingle bells, etc. I opened the top loop and made it into a hook for easier hanging. Plus hanging was a breeze since the weight of the mobile is so low. Overall, I am very pleased with the final results and this product.

You can create your own photo album or finally the perfect spot for small mementos--an ornament, toy, fabric, card, child's indescribable creation, really anything you can attach a lobster clip to--you just have to ensure everything balances...

*Note that this does not come with the cards: but I like that you can change out the mobile with creative items of your own (pictures, felt animals, alphabet cards, etc. )It is a little more flimsy than I expected, but it worked for me and looks cute.The reason this is only a three star: Mine arrived with a missing clip. Each extension has a clothespin type clip (which is very easy to hang things on). This is where you attach the cards. One of mine was missing. Rather than return mine (because it was being made as a gift) I was able to use jewelry making tools to move the center clip to the missing spot so it was symmetrical.

I love this and only wish it came in a larger size. I bought one and hung many of our travel photos on it, looks great. Bought another and used it for funny faces my grandkids make. Hopefully you will receive more in stock soon. Pretty and moves nicely with just a small breeze.

I bought this mobile to attach to my baby's mobile in place of this ugly attachment that originally came with it. Anyway, the clips that hold the photos on this mobile are wicked strong and clipping the photos on the mobile is very easy and quite fun. I plan to continue to use this mobile in my home once the baby is too big for his crib. CAUTION: The only negative about this mobile is that if you use it in a crib, the pictures can hang quite low. Mine works fine with wallet size photos (hung vertically) but I would not suggest using anything larger for a baby's mobile.
