I like quality products and this marker delivers! It's made of titanium and looks good. The mechanism works well; have been playing with it and no issues. It has refills so once you make the initial investment you have options on whether you use it as a marker or highlighter and now there's a pen refill. It's not cheap but very much worth what you pay.

Awesome pen case to house your permanent marker. This is a sleek pen with understated branding. All other permanent marker shell cases are two handed operation requiring two hands to unscrew the cap of the pen. This is the only pen where you can write with your titanium pen with one handed operation with a click of the smooth bolt action. Will definately buy more in the future so I can always have different colors on hand.

The MARKSMITH uses a special, readily available refill made by Sharpie. Available in permanent colors and various highlighter colors and specially designed so they won't dry out. The pen itself is built like a tank. As a matter of fact, I ran my Abrams tank over it in the driveway and it dented the tread. The machining and fit are flawless and the mechanism works perfectly. I had one question and got a response almost immediately. It costs a lot, but if you appreciate excellent design, you'll pass it on to your kids - or grandkids. Highly recommended - A work of art.

I was just looking for a sharpie with a decent pocket clip when I came across this. While it was total overkill for what I was looking for, I rationalized it as also potentially being a cool fidget toy. I’ve been using it for four months on its original ink cartridge and it’s been a solid, satisfying addition to my pocket edc. I keep it clipped next to a leatherman and the patina just gets nicer and nicer. And yes, it’s great to fidget with.

Great design, and well built. The bolt action is snappy and precise. Though, I do wish they made a model for left-handed writers. It's much easier to actuate the marker if you are right-handed vs. left-handed. They also did a great job on their website of communicating that there is a slight movement of the bolt-action clip when the marker is retracted. So I knew to expect it. But it doesn't bother me at all. The important thing is that there is absolutely no jiggle when the marker is deployed. This is definitely a "nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". But I'm glad I picked it up. 😁

I love the looks and feel of this marker.easy to use titanium looks great.tefills are easy to replace or refill.only problem ive seen is i use a steel pen to and in my pocket the titanium was all scratched and looked horrible after one shift at work.i ordered some pads i saw in videos on how to clean it up and remove scratches but it looks like it took the shine away and not looking like the videos.so be warned if you pay a hundred for this dont have anything in your pocket come in contact with it.it will bruise and scratch very easily.very disappointed in the scratches.4 stars because it gets damaged so easily.

Of course the elephant in the room is how this may be a bit expensive for a marker however if you’re in a treat yourself kind of mood and are frequently signing things or certifying documents than this marker may be something perfect for you. The real pencil pushers can understand that over time you learn to like what you write with and also what you don’t like. This pens ability to operate with one hand is awesome and honestly the thing glides without smudging or putting ink on your hand. I just purchased it but for a visual I’d say that it is the perfect marker if hypothetically you were in public and about to sign many autographs. The thing is just minimalist cool and nonchalantly catches eyes when you’re not holding some generic sharpie and taking the top off or fumbling around. For a workaholic and a pen & paper kind of person you’ll really appreciate this item. Cost is only a concern in absence of value. Get this pen and get work done so the money comes in lol…
