Everything you need and lots you don't
Excellent pedal. Covers the basics extremely well with very good sounding analog and tape delays, as well as a EHX Deluxe Memory Man replicator, as well as a lot of features, while not necessarily useful, are fun to play with. Things like reverse and octave delay and useless without some serious creativity, but fun gimmicks. Frankly, even without the wierder features, the pedal would still be worth the $139. Not to mention the versatility of the various settings, a tap tempo, and a looper. Really a great pedal for cheaper than the TCE Flashback.

Another EHX Home Run....but...
This is great small footprint reverb-delay device. Sound quality is excellent. Tons of features. Almost a must have for every guitarist. However, now I wished I had purchased its new big brother the EHX grand canyon. It offers more control and the looper is more useful. I am not upset with my unit, just wished I had its bigger brother and that is what I recommend...however, if you have only a small amount of pedal board space or want a unit that fits in your guitar case, you cannot go wrong with the little canyon.

I bought this pedal just to use for my live Ukulele gigs and it didn't disappoint! I play an acoustic electric ukulele and I do alot of original ukulele compositions, and I bought it just for the shimmer effect and the tape delay. The tape delay gives me an old school Sun Records rockabilly tone, it is great. The shimmer is amazing, and it is built like a tank, I love electro harmonix pedals and they are very creative and durable. For $130 there is alot packed in this little pedal and it comes with a power supply. The delays are awesome on this, it also has a digital delay and a deluxe memory man, reverse, modulation, reverb that you can add delay to. Amazing pedal that delivered the goods for my live performances. Great job, EH.

Tons of flexibility
Fantastic product. Lots of great sounds for such a small package. It has very specific power requirements so check the manual before you use it if you are plugging it into a third party power supplyOne small detail is that the settings are really hard to read unless you bend down to look at it.

Voltage problem
Very disappointed. It is very sensitive to voltage variations especially on stage. It tends to turn itself off and on and does not have true bypass,

Good Delay Pedal
Very good pedal. The things that make it worth the price are the looper and the shimmer effect. Get some really neat tones with a small amount of delay and feed back on shimmer when you have on some heavy distortion before the canyon.

My favorite delay
Greta sounding delay whether clean or dirty, pairs really well with a variety of pedals

Canyon delivers on its name. Sounds great!
This delay sounds fantastic, but the delay/looper combo made getting the Canyon a very easy choice. I have the delay going through the effects loop of my Mesa Boogie Mark IV which is where I always have chorus, delay and reverb. The different modes add so much more than I expected and can easily be used to replace many delays on the market. For the price, you get more than most delay units costing twice as much. The Canyon is the smallest pedal on my board which was surprising since it's so hard to tell based on videos and product photos. It's also very light weight and the color scheme of the graphics is pretty cool. The switch is very easy to activate and the led is bright enough for an afternoon gig outdoors. I added a unlatched footswitch closer to the bottom of my board to control the tap tempo as I set up time based effects on the 2nd row which is furthest away. The looper is an added bonus because it saved me some money and space on the pedal board. I need to get more familiar with the functions and get some practice with the looper, but I was really impressed with the sounds of all the modes.
