PHion Balance, Green Superfood Powder, 210-Gram

I buy this all the time... I don't have time to blend my own green food so this is an express way to get the nutrients I need. I first started using in 2007 when I watched one of Tony Robbins programs on an alkalinity diet.I buy on Amazon from many third party vendors (whoever has the best price); only once was I sold a bottle that was 3 years beyond the expiration date and let that vendor know to check their inventory because it will have a funny color and aftertaste if it is well beyond the expiration date.BTW, the vendor who sold me the out of date product sold me another batch with the same expiration date so it looks like their entire inventory needs to be refreshed. Funny; I saw in the email chain between them and Amazon Customer Service the bottle isn't marked with an expiration date so I must be the only one on the face of the planet who can read this date code clearly stamped on the bottom of the bottle. I'll call Guinness Book of World Records and see if I can get a free lifetime supply of fresh PHion Green Superfood... ! ;)

Haven't had a chance to use it but like other Californian's I about freaked with the May cause Cancer warning. A call to their corporate office revealed that this label is uniformly applied because it is a soil grown product and uncontaminated soil contains 16 ppm of lead. Bottom line - Prop 65 thresholds are extremely low (.05 micrograms) and the sticker is cheaper. Think about it, ever see this warning in the produce section of your neighborhood grocery? Think all our produce is grown in the US? Think organic means anything in the lead equation? It's a warning, do your own research and make an educated decision that works for you.

I have been using this product for some time and just lately thought to check and see if Amazon carries it. YES! Far better price than I was paying. I would much prefer to grow my own wheatgrass and juice it along with some sprouts. Cannot always do that. This powdered wheatgrass and sprout mixture is just the answer. If you do wheatgrass, you can still have the benifits of it when you travel or have a failed batch of your freshly grown grass. The taste is not bad at all. You can mix it with juice or other flavors if you wish. I add it to my green smoothie in the AM. Tastes fine...and what great benifits. You'll see the change in your overall health quickly. I also mix it with fresh ginger tea...for more added benifits. Just simmer a piece of fresh organic ginger in some water, pour it in a jar and keep it refrigerated to use as you like. Add a little Agave' if you wish. This product also contains some of the sea veggies that are so benificial to us. I find it difficult to fit them into my diet on a regular basis....so this is great...does not taste fishie though.

I went through three to four bottles of this which lasted me for good amount of time. So far, its been my favorite green powered bottled brand by far. As with many greens out there, its the same to me. Nothing spectacular. I did feel a bit "cleaned" or refreshed by it. But no energy or anything. All greens to me are equivalent to just taking a teaspoon of NOW chlorophyll. Except the green mint taste. I get the same refreshed feeling doing that using chlorophyll and only a couple bucks cheaper. I decided to take a break from PHion and try other products. But, I will buy from this again. These green bottled powders are always great for travelers, business men or just constant people on the go. I use this mainly for my hectic days of work which sometimes i'm on-call or on various shift schedules. Other wise if you got time (I try to do this myself too) is I recommend you juice your greens. Much better and nutrient rich opposed to dried powder. Only cons I have with this are:1. grainy mixture (UNLESS you add it to a smoothie)2. taste is bland (add some stevia sweetener for better taste)3. plastic bottle has a warning sticker claiming plastics may contain harmful chemicals known in California to cause reproductive harm. This is probably controversial or not really a concern but, it does confuse me as to why its safe to sale and consume.I rate this better at 3.5 out of 5 instead of 4 out of 5 because of that.

I've been buying Phion Green Superfood for over 10 years and taking it every day with vitamins in the morning. Based on my research and reading it's ingredients, I like their product the best over the competition especially at this price point.Pros:- Great price- Excellent source of many different types of numerous green vegetables- Highly concentrated green vegetables- One teaspoon equals over one pound of different green vegetables (read this somewhere)- Great alkalizing propertiesCons:- I'm not a fan of the taste (I mix it with Naked green juice and no problem)- Sells out fast (supply can be limited which drives the prices up)Neutral:- Phion stopped selling the pill form a long time ago (absorption is better in the powder form). Wish they brought it back.This a must buy for people who needs extra green vegetables in their diet with analyzing properties.

contain cancer causing chemicals? I purchased this online. The online label art is not the same because the product I received has a nice size sticker on it saying it contains cancer causing chemicals. I guess I will be shipping this one back.

I tried both capsules and powder. The powder taste horribly and does not melt well in water. The capsules are much easier to use.
