Super fun game! Great for lots of people.
This game is so much fun, and with more people you can be assured that you’ll most likely laugh so hard that you’ll cry. The erasable markers that come with the game don’t last too long, but you can pick more up at your local office supply store.

Great game if you are looking for a good laugh.
I bought this game to play at our large family gatherings. We have been playing the same games for years and wanted something new and different, but also brought some humor to the table. After much research, I came across this game, Telestrations. The videos I watched didn't make it seem as funny as the reviews were expressing the game to be, but after looking at numerous other games and reading their descriptions, this one still came out as having the best potential to accomplish what I was looking for. I bought the party pack size to allow the most people to participate. I have to say, although the game was easy to play once we got the gist of it, at first, it took a few people to read the instructions to understand how to score points, as well as was not clear as to if each person rolled the die and drew something different, if we had to use a specific side of the cards-if one was classified as more difficult, because both sides have items to draw on them etc... To our understanding, each person gets a card. One person rolls the die and whatever number it lands on, each person draws a picture of the word that is on their card (from either side) that corresponds with that number, or writes down the word and passes the pad for the next person to draw the picture; the way in which you proceed depends on the number of players you have. You have a limited amount of time in which to draw which is calculated by a sand timer. You continue on, alternating drawing and guessing, until each pad is back to its original owner (your name is written on the front). Each person takes a turn to display their book to the other players, now filled with photos and guesses, which is where the humor definitely comes into play. Some end up not even close to the original word and it's hilarious to see how the interpretation changes. The more people that play, the more changes, and the more laughs. You score a point if all of the pictures and guesses made, throughout the entire round, match the original word on the card. I would have given the game 5 stars, however, there is one complaint I have, and that is the pens. The tips are very easily pushed up into the pen itself, leaving only a tiny bit to write with. After the very first time of playing the game, less than half of the pens were still in good condition by the time we were finished. I also think the design could have been better, as far as the eraser being a part of the pen itself, instead of a separate cloth. I have a dry erase board pen that has a soft end for erasing, located where the eraser would be on a regular pencil, that I think would be much more convenient and much easier to use. The cloth itself is so small it ends up rolling or slipping out of your hand and is even more difficult if you don't have tiny hands to begin with. Overall, I think this is a great game and I highly recommend it. I am looking forward to trying the TelestrationsAfter Dark version my cousin owns as well.
