Decent liquorice overall
It was a tasty treat but too expensive for what you receive. The sweet ones were quite hard and not as tasty as the salted ones which I highly recommend.

Recent Klepper & Klepper Licorice were hard and brittle, hurting my teeth and gums. :-(
I have bought Klepper & Klepper liquorice quite a few times, and it has been lovely and chewy. The last ones were very hard and dried out; this was after opening them new. I have had a great many of these bags of liquorice now, so the last batch has now put me off buying any more. Especially considering the cost, my partner and I have spent a great deal of money over time. We probably will not buy their liquorice again. In my opinion it was nice before, but the last batch was horrible hard and brittle, hurting my teeth and gums. :-(

I wish this item had been better packaged - it arrived creased and crumpled and not suitable for a gift. The contents however were lovely.
