Helps to Smash Cravings & Quit Smoking!
These helped curb my sugar addiction as the salty licorice just killed my cravings! Beware that these small but mighty gems are an acquired taste but they go well with coffee or tea after dinner and are very satisfying! They have a very stiff, chewy texture so I recommend sucking on them instead. These helped several of my friends quit smoking, too!

Just like i remember
My best friend growing up was from Finland and he would share these with me. As expected these have a black licorice flavor and at first I hated it, but over time I got addicted and ending up loving them. I hadn't had these in 20 years and when I saw these on amazon I had to try them. They just like I remember and ate them all up. Awesome product.

So good!
Finnish salty licorice is a unique flavor combination that I really enjoy. These little pieces are small but powerful and so good. The yellow package is a bit too menthol forward for me, but was worth a try.

Not my cup of tea
Wow, I didn't realize the salt used in this was an ammonia based salt until I popped one in my mouth. That was an experience that I don't want to relive. I did not enjoy these. That said, the salt is fairly balanced and does not overpower the licorice flavor much in the Salmiakki and it was a nice licorice flavor from the small amount of time I had it in my mouth. I think if it were a sodium salt I would have liked it but I can't get past the ammonia=urine association. The Pantteri is too much for me. I can't get past the flavor cliff that in front of the licorice candy. Why add a menthol flavor? I've tried to understand why someone would like this. Is it a cool numbing sensation fetish? A self hate fetish? I am not qualified to answer these questions.I'm deducting the one star because I cannot say in good faith that these were not good. It is me, not you. also, I'm throwing Pantteri from the equation because I hated it so much that it would literally break my 1-10 scale of deliciousness. It is the only thing I've tried that I would give a negative score to so I'm scrubbing it from my rankings. I'm sure there are people that would like it. I definitely do not like it.

Salty?
Not very salty, tasty but definitely not salty compared to other salty licorice. Price was pretty steep as well.

Fascinatingly disgustingly weird, but also kind of nice
As someone who is half-Finnish, I've always wanted to try this. I generally like licorice, but salty licorice is a wholly different thing. It tastes pretty much how you would expect, really strong licorice and salt. I probably wouldn't buy it again, because is kind of spendy, but it's worth trying if you're looking for something weird and different.

Good salmiak, not particularly strong but flavorful enough
You get two boxes of Fazer standard Salmiak candy, one of Pantteri, and one of Super Salmiakki. The standard Salmiakki hit the spot; they're not particularly strong, but the primary flavor is definitely salmiak, with a mild sweetness of licorice in the back. I usually eat these small pastilles 2-3 at a time.Pantteri are similar, with a minty chill to them. Very refreshing, I like.Super Salmiakki are like the standard ones, but a bit stronger. More to my taste, but I enjoyed all three varieties. All boxes were in good condition and properly wrapped.
