Excelente product for the health

I’ve been a big fan of Berberine for a long time. However, I have always had trouble finding a quality extract of it. Typically what I found was powdered extracts with larger sized granules in the capsules. This led to much poorer absorption. The better few quality brands had finely ground powder, which absorbed much better. Yet, this Designs for Health brand, has been the best I’ve seen and felt in Berberine quality, absorption, and effects. I get a boost in mood, reduced blood sugar, less upset bowels, and I’ve been able to loose some weight. I look forward to further longterm health benefits. I’ve been taking this once daily with lunch, along with my 500mg of ER Metformin. I try and get the benefits of both sides in raising the AMPK enzyme, that’s tied to longevity.

It was suggested to me by my doctor to begin taking this supplement. It was determined that I’d need about 2 bottles a month. So I purchased two. I gained 7 pounds within the span of THREE DAYS. My clothes were tight everywhere. I spoke with my doc and she said to stop taking it immediately. So now I’m out $100 because I can’t return it— not even the unopened bottle that’s still sealed!

I also bought with white thistle, I can’t wait to get to the second jar and see if I lost any weight!

This is a good brand. I like the gel capsules, makes them easy to swallow.
