Cross chest strap immediately fails, DAKINE ghosts, seller shrugs
On the first trip, this strap experienced failure with the simplest pack. I photographed and uploaded the damage to the DAKINE page as requested when this happen last fall (October). No word. So I contact the seller and they just forwarded me to the same DAKINE returns page bc they won't honor their merchandise providers' warranty. This was my first terrible experience with the DAKINE brand and as well as an unsatisfactory experience with a carrier of their product. Maybe DAKINE isn't what is once was? I used to swear by this brand but I think they have gone the way of fast fashion and allowing any "shop" to carry their merch. Such a fail.
