I need to reach 11 feet up in an a-frame configuration. What size ladder should i get.

Considering personal safety, if I needed to reach 11 feet in an A-Frame configuration, I would not use any A-Frame ladder that was not at least 16 feet from ground to top rung. To be clear, THIS ladder indicates 18 feet as a Straight Ladder. As an A-Frame, it's height (floor to top rung) is only 8 feet. Ever stood on the very top rung of an A-Frame ladder? Don't!

I have the 12.5 model which stands about 3 feet above the ground (or floor) in platform mode. The 15.5 model (doing the math) would be about 3.75 feet .
