Don’t use for nymphing
Reel design is open @ edge & then connector, so you line gets quickly stuck when in transit. Love the reel otherwise

Terrible drag
Reel construction is good but the drag adjustment is terrible. In 1/3 of a turn on the drag knob the drag goes from lock up to free spool with no friction in between. On one cast the drag adjustment is fine, on another it’s in lock up or free spool. Returning reel.

Agree with the drag comment
Fished this reel for a year now. The die cut is nice, sealed drag is in-fact sealed. No issues with freezing. Only knock I have on it is the drag settings, I have one “click” that is acceptable for for med-larger fish. Another click in either direction is way too loose or way too tight. I’ll be moving it too my small stream 4 wt where drag is not a huge deal.
