Better quality than expected. Good bang for your buck. Stylish without going over the top. Would consider other items from this manufacturer. Really well done design on the substantial screw-in feet. Seems very sturdy.

This Chair is Beautiful. The only problem that I had was one of the wood inserts, that the leg screw into was missing. I went to home depot and replace it. Amazon stated they will give me a discount. Even with that the chair is still worth the price that I paid for it. It is very study and heavy. If you order one make sure you select deliver to the room of choice. The chair is heavy, but real sturdy. I have set in it and it is comfortable. I am going to purchase the loveseat and the sofa to complete the set. Please look at the pictures above, it is also wide and classy looking.

We saw the same chair locally in the furniture stores. The price is about the same but it was delivered to my door without paying a fee. The chair looks nice and is OK to sit on, but it is pretty firm. We've used it pretty regularly for about six months and it is not "breaking in". I guess that could be good that it is holding up like new?

I saved over $600 buying this from Amazon and not at the Ashley store, plus I got free shipping too! It matches my carpet and room perfectly and feels like a very good quality piece of furniture too! I also got the matching oversized chair and I'm just as happy with it. :o)

Box arrived covered in black dirt/soot.Chair had a rip on the arm.Cushion very firm and not deep as stated in other reviews. Returning and will not be ordering a replacement

It’s beautiful, comfy, perfect for the cozy spot next to the fireplace. The color would go with any decor. I tossed a comfy throw over the back for a layered look. If you’re looking at this chair, I highly suggest you get it. Oh and delivered within 2 days ! The guys delivering it were professional and friendly. They brought it in to my home right where I asked.

i realize a brand new chair will not be as comfortable as the chair i've been breaking in for thirty plus years. Recent new furniture seems to be made of particle board and toothpicks - almost disposable - single time use. Today's new furniture appears to be made for styling purposes only. This chair is quite firm and seems pretty sturdy. You're not going to sink into this, especially right out of the box. My fear is the cushion will break down prematurely, but i have no evidence that will happen. it's very bulky, which doesn't bother me (At least my pets can't topple it over like some of today's furniture). i do wish the seat was deeper. it looks like it would be, and when i first sit in the chair, I'm always a little bit surprised because I also FEEL like the seat should be deeper. Overall though, i am pleased with the looks of it, especially with the matching ottoman, and just a little shy of completely satisfied. I wanted to be over the moon, but that's just ridiculous any more. Now for the plot twist. I may purchase another set to complete the family room.
