Very convincing, lovely flavours
Vegan chocolate seems to have come a long way recently. This is the nicest non-dairy chocolate I’ve ever tried, and perhaps the first that’s felt really on a par with the usual dairy-based stuff. I might even suggest that in a blind test, I might be hard pushed to say with confidence that this was dairy-free. It is very smooth, lacking that slightly variable tempered consistency that some small-batch dairy chocolate can have that makes it a little interesting, but it certainly looks the part and tastes the part. The base chocolate isn’t the strongest of flavours. The 76% dark doesn’t quite have as much kick to it as the heavy cocoa offerings from other brands, and the fairly thin bar does feel just a little bit lacking in ‘oomph’. But the selection of flavours in this mixed dark-and-milk-but-not-milk set is well chosen to more than make up for that. The two versions of salted caramel are a well-balanced mix of sweet and salty, not too heavily salt-based like other salted caramels can be, and they work in both the dark and light bases. The sea salt one is (obviously) far saltier and has a good tang to it, but isn’t heavy with salt crystals. Vanilla of course is sometimes a synonym for ‘no flavour’ but not in this case, where it is a distinct extra flavoured sweetness (a bit like Vanilla Coke) that definitely works.Unfortunately vegan chocolate is still a premium niche product so it’s not fair to compare the prices to what you can get for dairy-based chocolate. Even so, a tenner for five fairly small bars does still manage to seem a little bit steep. Despite this though, I’m still going to give it five stars, on the strength of the flavour and for being the most convincing replica of dairy-based chocolate that I’ve encountered to date.

As good as vegan chocolate gets!
I have tried vegan chocolate before and non have sadly come close to being as tasty and moreish as non-vegan in my opinion. I will say that this vegan chocolate by RAW HALO is the best I have tried. it is edible and at times a little enjoyable, but for me it lacked a lot of flavour and the enjoyment of eating chocolate sadly wasn't there. I applaud RAW HALO for trying unique flavours such as Himalayan salt, though for me I just couldn't binge a bar. It was more of a 1 or 2 square situation before I had enough.I think where this brand does well is branding and presentation. It is all very nicely done and I just loveee the packaging. Easily would make for a lovely gift for a loved one who is vegan. I hope that RAW HALO can improve the flavour intensity of the cocoa as well as it's authentic and natural sweetness. Though for me it falls short in flavour and taste. 4 stars.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Nice gift set
I ordered this gift set for my daughter -it was her birthday last week and I like to get her little extra presents to open like this.It comes really nicely packaged, although my daughter said the bottom layer is 3 bars, the top layer 2 bars so the top bars slide around, so equal top and bottom amounts would have been better. That being said, sh was really happy with the chocolate. As someone who was once dairy intollerent, she has had vegan chocolate before and enjoyed it, although this is definitely a level up from the products available then, and she wouldn't have known it was vegan if it wasn't advertised as such. The bars are tasty, each one is 35g and is 76% chocolate. Its great for people with allergies being both dairy free AND gluten free. Its also organic AND vegan, and is made from ethically sourced cacao. They use plastic-free packaging that's recyclable and they plant trees In partnership with OneTreePlanted.Great product, would recommend

Very rich.
The different flavours are surprisingly intense and chocolatey. They have a super fresh and slightly fruity taste. The dark ones are very bitter (it's good to have a cup of water nearby when trying them out). The dark salted caramel especially is an amazing mixture of salty, crunchy, and chocolatey, with a subtle coffee-like aftertaste. The milk chocolate bars are a lot calmer. I'd say the milk and vanilla is the sweetest one of the bunch. The milk + pink himalayan salt is pretty much the same as the salted caramel, minus the chewiness of the caramel.Overall, a delicious pack of chocolates. At the current price (£9.99 at time of writing), it falls as just under £2 per bar. Good value for raw chocolate (as it generally tends to be a tad more expensive than regular chocolate). Would make a great gift for a chocolate-loving vegan friend or family.I'd be happy to recommend.

Meh
I liked the ingredients of the dark chocolate as I’m oil free and creamed coconut is just coconut oil which is extremely unhealthy. I made the mistake of thinking the ingredients for the mylk would be the same just sweeter but I was wrong. It’s not even great and I can’t eat Ombar anymore cos they started putting “creamed” coconut in it too. Sighhhh, guess I’ll stick to vego chocolate until someone makes date chocolate with nut butter instead of coconut oil.

Unique flavours
Within in this box you get 5 different flavours of chocolate bars. These range from dark chocolate to Mylk with different flavours such as vanilla, salted caramel and salt. These are very unique flavours which i would say are open to different peoples tastes. For me the flavour wasn't quite right. It was a bit too bitter on the tounge. I would recommend as a occasional treat and i could only eat a small bit of the it before it was too much. The chocolate is dairy and gluten free which is great for people with allergies. It is also ethical too which is a bonus, using plastic free packaging which is recyclable.
