It's hard to imagine that not a soul has asked or answered what the exact size of these is, but that sure would be useful to know before purchasing!

The tops are about 11/16 inch inside diameter, the bottom is about 3/4 inch inside diameter and the height is 3/4 inches. Thickness is approx 0.05 inch

Can they be used to convert japanese jis battery posts (5/16") to standard american posts (5/8")?

Nope - just tried. JIS post is just too small

If the battery clamp won’t tighten down on the battery post of the battery you have purchased after market. It should work. It work great on my 2011 Honda Pilot. Worked great for me
