Since coming back from Europe last October, I searched high and low for the delicious goat cheese I had on a salad in Split, Croatia. I decided to take a chance and order this one. AMAZING! Exactly what I had in Europe. Worth every penny IMO. I just ordered it again as I share with my mother. Cheese arrived cold and packed well, although the can was slightly crushed. If you’re thinking of ordering, do not hesitate.

So, I got this item the other day. The can it came in had been slightly crushed, causing the can to rupture, and the cheese water to spill out. Despite this, the container had been wrapped in saran wrap 3 layers thick, and it also had been wrapped in a freezer bag with an icepack. Great! it survived, if slightly damaged, it was still quite edible, and given the tender loving care the staff had put into wrapping it I did not return it, and instead took a tentative bite.Oh god the flavor. The flavor sent me straight to heaven this is a true goat cheese! Unfortunately each wedge of the cheese was two maybe three servings worth, not easily spreadable, or for that matter storable, given the unfortunate condition of its parent container. That said, this cheese has got the recipe for a goat cheese purrrrrrrfect.So, I have feedback for the manufacturer!1. We need the cheese cut into 6, not 3 cubes in a container. The smaller the cuts the better. Why? I am using it as a spread for crackers, and breads and crisps. Not eating it on its own (although given its tastiness I would 100% do this)2. The cheese should be packed in oil, or water, and then bottled or canned. Seriously. A tin can (like you see soups getting shipped in) would make this infinitely better. Why? Well now its giftable. And non-perishable, which means you can send it on the slow track instead of rush delivery. I am sure that will lower shipping costs. But most importantly, I could buy this and put it in gift baskets if it were canned. Or I could put it on my shelf for storage in case of apocalypse. Or just take it camping. Seriously, this cheese is the best.

Rather expensive, but unless you can find a good Mediterranean market close by, this is the best of what I used to buy years ago. Very tender and moist, not too salty....etc. Thankfully it was sent when we had a break in the hot weather. Inside the box was a thick foil insulation bag plus an ice pack. It was still nice and cool when we opened it. It was sent by 2-day mail. MM

We have ordered this product several times in the past. It is wonderful Cheese. This delivery, unlike before, arrived warm. The cheese should be kept cold. It was not packaged with adequate insulation or cold pack.

This is the best goat cheese on the American market.

This is one of the best cheese, I used to get it back in Texas. I love the smooth and tasty texture of this very good quality cheese.
