awsome
this blower looks like a toy but it definitely is not -- I live in SC with a lot of trees behind our backyard fence -- we get thousands of small whirly bird seed pods all over our property every day -- they blow into the concrete expansion grooves of the concrete driveway and extended concrete rear patios -- there are 3 of them approximately 10 'x 10' with decorative grooves in them -- with the 2 included 4.0 AH batteries, I can blow out the 2 car garage, the 24' x 30' driveway and the 3 rear patios, even with all extra time it takes because of the grooves -- it holds it's own in a light breeze but struggles against unfavorable winds but then again so does my large gas powered blower -- the tubes are small so you can only get so much volume out of the blower but you definitly get a strong force of air -- I've even had success after a rain -- the noise level is lower than an indoor vacuum cleaner when only the motor is on, not with the brushes beating up the carpet -- definitly quieter than a shop vac -- you can carry on a conversation while this is running without screaming -- the switch is a little hard to pull and a bit difficult to keep it running on the lower speeds -- the harder you pull the faster it runs -- much of what I do could be done at the lowest speed if I could control it better -- a speed lever that maintains the desired speed like my big blower does would be nice -- if you release the switch it shuts off saving a little power but also very convinent if you want to put it down or move to another area -- who among us has not blown something off that you didn't want to while you are moving to another area -- since I can clear everything off at high speed it's not a big deal -- when the charge is about run out the blower shuts off with no run time at a lower speed before it shuts off (Lithium Batteries, right!!) -- others have written about the battery charge and run time but this is such a subjective thing -- ask yourself this -- If the battery shows fully charged out of the box, why does it take around an hour to show full charge on the charger? -- the 4 power remaining lights cover a range of power, not the exact power -- charging time depends on the temperature and so does run time -- how long did you run it at high speed or a lower speed? -- how often was the trigger released while moving around or just resting your finger because of the spring-loaded trigger -- the vacuum nozzle is a more flexible attachment -- probably rubber -- it would be awkward to vacuum something without a hose attached -- there is plenty of suction though -- I vacuumed the sawdust off of my chop saw and it did fine -- this design is available under several different labels and colors -- with a carry case or maybe a hose for the vacuum feature -- I chose this one primarily because of the 2 ea 4Ah batteries -- if you are only doing a front porch and a walkway the single 2Hr battery might be fine, otherwise opt for this package -- if you watch the price daily or have the add on coupon extension for Chrome they all get to around the same lowest price -- this design changes price frequently

Very surprised at this blower
I wanted a more compact, lightweight blower to clean up my desert rock yard. When this arrived, I laughed at the size of the box, and the unit, when I took it out. I thought it looked and felt like a kids' toy! There is not much to put together, which is nice, as the instructions won't tell you much anyway. I charged up the first battery; it did take longer than advertised, but I was in no rush to use it. Once it was charged, I tried it out and was very impressed with the wind power it creates. I really love the control - it is not a "low" and "high" speed; rather it is controlled strictly by the pressure you put on the trigger and that is really a great feature. You don't end up applying so much air that everything is flying around. I also do my carport driveway and works perfectly. Now please keep in mind, I am only blowing off desert rocks for my gardens of debris, but it works really well. I don't know that this would be an adequate blower if you were trying to blow leaves from a grass yard. I would think it would work pretty good on a small yard; a large one just not sure. I like the fact that this came with two battery packs, so once the first one is used, you can get it in the charger and use the second one to do more work. Since I rarely am using the blower "full power", I get quite a bit of time on one battery packs. I can definitely say that this is a great lightweight unit for cleaning up messes such as what I encounter. Also, a nice feature on the unit is a button you can press to see approximately how much power is left in the battery. I was using mine and it quit working; the lights did not come on, so I knew it was time to swap out the batteries. I have not tried the suction feature, but I do believe it will work quite well, as when I have gotten the unit close to my jogging shorts, it "pulls" the material right to the suction opening. With all this being said, I recommend this unit, especially if you are working with a smaller area. Thank you!
