I bought this wire stripper to do a small wiring job with #8 THHN wire. It stripped the wire easily without nicking the cooper at all. The cutter works well and provides clean cuts even when trimming a small amount from braided wire. It is listed as an ergonomic tool. I would have to agree. It was easy to handle and a great addition to my DIY toolbox.

This wire stripper works great. I bought it specifically for use on larger gauge wires but it works well on 12 gauge too.

Wish they had more range to strip smaller wire. I got the to strip 6 awg wire and the work good.

This is highly worth it, especially if you work with big stranded conductors often (I do EVs and large equipment). This keeps you from using your fastback and accidentally breaking off strands or damaging the copper, perfect for professionals.

Best strippers I’ve ever owned, use them daily as an electrician.

Love these wire strippers they are a great quality and well worth the money hold up very well and are easy to use they have a great and comfortable grip and last really long and love the fact that they have a lock on them to keep you safe
