Looks like real stone!
We used these for the bottom of our rain chains. We put stones in the basin & the water cascades down the rain chain onto the rocks in the basin & over the downspout into the drain. Very cool look & works great!

Looks so great! Little pricey for a bit of plastic is only complaint.
