The wheels aren't bad, know what you're getting into
Initially I thought the wheels were bad, then I realized my tires weren't inflated lol, lets talk about these wheels. If you buy spoked wheels that aren't built and custom, do not expect them to be trued. I see negative reviews and what it appears to be is people buy these $100 wheels thinking they're going to get a trued wheel. You should expect to take them to a bike shop and get them trued. Now, let's talk about the quality of the wheels. They're steel wheels which have a weld spot because they're steel and it isn't cast aluminum. There is going to be a minor wobble. On disc brake wheels it isn't as bad as the hub still spins straight, I would not buy the rim brake version though. The hardware isn't bad at all. As a matter of fact, one cool part about the wheels is on the axles, one side has the hardware essentially stuck on. This means you only have to worry about the other side when tightening down your cone nuts etc. I've worked with wheels where you have to measure and center the axle and keep re-taking measurements. Having axles where the hardware is stuck on is actually pretty smart.I suggest getting a good NLGL #3 grease which is thicker than #2. The ball bearings are 1/4.Also, the O.L.D dimension (fork and dropout) dimensions are 100mm on the front wheel and 120mm on the rear wheel. You may need to use additional 7.5mm jam nuts to space it out to 135mm if needed. For the price, you really can't complain. The guy who trued them said he's seen better weld spots, but it definitely isn't the worse

These are heavy duty???
Hands down the worse rims I've ever used. The only thing "heavy duty # are the 12g spokes. The outer ring itself is made with the softest cheapest feeling metal I've ever seen a rim constructed with. I hit a pothole first day and bent, creased the front rim. Never have I done that on 30 yrs of on/off-road cycling. Then I find the worst looking weld points ever(pictured) which cause a permanent flat spot in each rim making trueing the rims impossible. And not one but 2 weld slots per rim. And then customer service stops replying after a week of exchanging emails-i will be looking at another manufacturer for replacements

Good strong wheel need adjustment
They, are steel 12ga. Spokes mine came true, no loose spokes ,some sharp and rough burrs around seam nothing a file can't remedy plenty of grease in bearings but wheel hub bolts are tight need to be loosened and adjusted, I added more high temp grease , rear wheel came with 5 speed cassette, luckily I have special bicycle tools to remove it ,also hub is tight adjustment nessasary, these are not ready to mount and go , check everything well ,they're a bargin but mechanical skills are necessary.

The product was exactly what I wanted and expected, excellent quality 👌
What I didn't like was the packaging, some bubble wrap would protect it much better than a piece of cardboard. The package was torn open and badly damaged, not happy with Amazon delivery either, they put the package at the wrong door directly underneath the downspout of the gutter! In a puddle of water? Not exceptable delivery

A mixed bag
Where to begin? I ordered disk brake rims and received the combo rims instead. The front one was new and the rear was clearly a return... the threads were badly damaged on one side and there was a nice gouge in the gear cassette threads, and there were tool marks all over the place. The messed up threads were so bad I ended up disassembling the whole thing and used the spindle from the old rim. I would have just returned them, but I needed to get my wife's bike together in time for a camping trip so I made it work. The rims are not top quality craftsmanship but this is what a hundred bucks gets you so no real surprise there. That being said, the rims were close enough to being true and the thickness of the rim and spokes are pretty robust, noticeably thicker than the ones that I replaced. These folks need to pay attention and ship the correct product, and not send out returned and damaged products.

Most of you know me well in motorized bicycle community! YT@BuildBreakFix
A lot of you know me online for making builds of every kind dissecting them and showing you step by step how to fix it. complex builds of every kind Ms460,ms660,minarellis,piagios, big bore cvt 4 strokes now even big bore cvt 2 stroke. which i will be using these rims on "once i fix them!""I don't get paid ever to reviews for items and i never write them for items or cash. I don't even make cash off my how to videos or review videos it all goes to NPO helps disabled kids and veterans"With this said i have been asked many times to review these wheels. I bought this exact set and few from other venders over last 2 years. I can tell you this. Every set from every vender i have purchased has come from the exact same warehouses in canada shipped to usa to be drop shipped by various sellers with logos on them for that seller. some don't even go that far. there is actually a stamp on these wheels no matter the rim type or shape and are all made by 2 same factories out of china. hub is made in one place, Rims are rolled steel and made in another place. The spoke always come lose and they do this for a reason! Ball cups are almost never fully seated. Why is this important? it is what your 8 ball bearings roll on inside your hub. If you look close at your hub as i have just shown in a short video on the ones i just purchased from this vender there is lines on the cups. they call these give points. when they are formed they make these so you can press steel into another steel part not have them deform. when you see one side sticking out and one not! you will now have a hop in your wheel cause the hub no longer true and the balls are rolling on a slight angle. this will lead to wear and it will at some point become lose and the balls will reform the cup making parts thinner then other parts if not corrected out of the box. second the axles are just cold rolled steel and have a tempered outer shell. these are not fully tempered axles. case hardened axles. which also is a death sentence along with 8 ball V nut.I wanted to point out. Price. You are getting a:1) sold rim2) thick spokes 12G3) decent hub (with horrible cups in it)With that said as a person built 100's wheels now many on my channel for motorized bicycles. that alone is a good value for the price these sell for! cause it is about what it cost for the materials!"But be aware! axle, cups and hardware are pure garbage!" for a motorized bicycle build will kill out of the box some point! These few items are east to replace with some well known parts and do not cost very much at all! or you find a good well made donner wheel and just swap it over!"So if your willing to put in some work to make these well running wheels that are going to make your motorized bicycle pretty safe and run well on these just keep this in mind. I have run these on now one few builds. broken axles to ball cups exploding to the inserted sideways cups as this set came!BIGGEST ERROR ON THESE OUT FO THE BOX: "No grease in front hub period" So please if you buy these look them over wellThey are not bad wheels but like everything in the hobby you need to make sure it's assembled well and safe to use! cause out of the box mine for sure are not!
