Q: I live on the Oregon coast, I have a 98 gallon outside tank. The temp. would usualy rang in the 50s to 70s, would they live in that or winter temps?

I added a water heater to mine and keep it at 70°F and they are very active and appear healthy

Q: How are these snails shipped? Do I need to worry about how long they are in transit?

I can't speak for InvertObsession, but snails shipped by CAS are shipped via USPS priority mail using an insulated box and thick fish-bags. Since we ship from near a USPS sorting center, its generally 2 days or less to anywhere in the continental US. We use an above-water technique that prevents accumulation of ammonia in the bag (one of the leading causes of fish death during shipping). Heat packs and cold packs are added as per weather requirements. We don't ship to Alaska or Hawaii as well as internationally due to delays that would harm the snails.

Q: I have convicts cichlids about 25 in a 75 gallon tank. My large pleco died. I want to get these to contain the algae. Will the cichlids eat them?

if they can fit in it their mouth which they probably can. i would think that convict cichlids would def eat these. i love convicts
