⚠️ spoiler-ish warning ⚠️I didn’t expect to love Dante and Vivian so much. The way they both carved a spot into my heart and made way for themselves. The tension between them was everything. I definitely felt the jealousy from Dante and the possessiveness he had for Vivian. After the truth came to light, I was glad they both communicated and was able to make it work (knowing that if they had just communicated more in the beginning, this wouldn’t had happened lol) I love that Dante waited 2 whole hours at her favorite coffee shop just to “run in” to her; and the way he said “I am desperate.” 🥹 He knew he messed up so his groveling took 3 dates but those dates were damn well beautifully planned. To be loved is to be seen 💗"You can't see the stars in New York," Dante said. "So l brought the stars to you.""You've been gone less than a week and I already feel like I've spent an eternity in h*ll!""Tell me what you want, Vivian. Do you want me on my knees?""Per te aspetterei per sempre, amore mio." (I would wait for you forever, my love)“A part of me would always find my way to her. Dante is what would definitely describe a man who gets down to business but a family man. Vivian reminds me of our parents can do to us when it comes to trauma. What new money does to you when you’re not in favor of decades of money and power. Love the chemistry of enemies to lovers with hint of curiosity about each other. The slow burn of seeing the spark ⚡️ burst into flames 🔥. Seeing what a man truly should do when he messes everything up is Dante’s grovel

Ok so I wanted to remove one star, because when I looked up this author it was said she was really good with scandalous/smutty/explicit style of sexy writing. In this book however, I disagree. The first real scene is halfway thru the dang book! For me, it's not enough. Don't waste got don't get me wrong. But still. The story itself was really good, even with some confusion in conversations or the positions in the smut parts... So I left it at 5 stars. I would probably give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️ in spice. For those if you like-minded souls like me! 👍

Honestly kept me hooked until 65% of the way through when it kept repeating the same storyline and character development stalled. Overall a good read solid 3.5 stars

This is my first read from Ana Huang and no Im on to book two in the King's if Sin series. I loved the chemistry, tension and how the dark broody MC met someone who could not only challenge him but change him for the better. Its was spicy, had great side characters and I can't wait for more.

Ana Huang has a knack for creating a world that feels both relatable and thrilling. The character development is so satisfying, especially as both Dante and Vivian grow throughout their arranged marriage. It was hard to read at first and not in the way you think. It was just really intense but beautiful and because I tend to give everything I read life in my mind, I was also excited to read and see what else I could imagine.

Such a spicy quick read. I love Ana Huang books and her writing. This book was fun and spicy that kept me entertained with the plot. I love how other characters you know and love are thrown in for cameos and the world Ana has made for them. Such a good one with the slow burn of enemies to lovers and Dante Russo is just such a broody dark man, we love to see it.
