Great for the trapping cages protects critters until you can get to them in morning
Great cover to protect critters from elements until morning. I have a TNR cat colony ..trap, neuter, release for stray, dumped, feral cats. I use for the ones that are unable to be caught by hands.

Raccoon WILL shred cover.
This product works as expected and is 100% effective. No complaints there. The cover fit my trap perfectly and by shrouding the trap made it much more effective in luring in raccoons. That said, the first raccoon I trapped spent the night clawing and chewing cover to try to escape (see pics) I cleaned cover and put back on trap and re-set. Next raccoon I caught shredded entire cover, pulling it into cage. Cover destroyed.Since then I have used a black trash bag wrapped around cage and it’s been just as effective, gets shredded, costs much less than replacing cover. The leather gloves - also 100% worth it! Thick, very long for full hand and arm coverage.Despite loss of the cover I’m still happy with purchase and product. While 10 cent trash bags will be my cover moving forward, I learned something and trapping and removal has been a success thanks to these products

Inhumane—but Tomahawk instead
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely inhumane trap. Maybe an older generation is fine with the results of this trap, but, as a millennial cat lover, my experience with it has been absolutely horrific. After carefully building a relationship with the biggest unfixed feral male cat in my neighborhood, I knew he’d be happier, my cats would be safer, and there’d be fewer feral kittens being produced only to die in horrific ways in nature or on the street if I fixed him, so I bought this trap based on the reviews. The instructions for set up and use it came with were inadequate, so I found a YouTube tutorial and thought I was set. Within moments of setting it up, I found my feral tom in the trap, his face bleeding. He kept thrashing around so I zipped the cover so he’d calm down. He thrashed periodically all night. By the morning, he’d pooped everywhere. There was blood everywhere. I took him to the Humane Society first thing in the morning to get fixed. They were horrified and attacked me for having not put down paper on the bottom so he’s paw had gotten stuck when the trap went off, which is why he was thrashing. Apparently his bleeding face is normal for these traps though because they even have a term for it: cage head. It took me months to recover from my trauma of so desperately wanting to do good and then doing so wrong by this cat that I waited months to try again. Because what had happened, the trap floor doesn’t even work anymore and I’m taking that as a sign that no one should be using this design of trap anymore. It makes me sick thinking about how many innocent animals were destroyed with this trap. It needs to be thrown out. I told everyone on TikTok what had happened and they said EVERYONE starts with this “cheap trap before they get their first escape artist” and redirected me to a better trap: the Tomahawk trap.

Works great!
Works great. Caught the injured feral cat on my second attempt! Not difficult to assemble if one has common sense, which I lack a bit of.

Does Work! Raccoons will SHRED it!
Cover worked great! I did have to brace something against each side to keep down. (It is a flimsy canvas) However, very enticing for these dang rodents. Caught a possum, let him go, finally caught the devil raccoon, shredded most it, was still mainly intact and was able to use it “once” more to catch another demon raccoon. Now I’m here to buy another for future use. Would recommend, just note you WILL need to replace if you catch raccoons.
