Butchers Sundries Cornish Smoked Sea Salt - 75 gm

When opening and smelling the salt it seems like it is going to be very overpowering but the actual taste is not as harsh as the smell. It has a strong smoke, near burnt smell about the salt but does not come across like that when used. I am not a heavy salter of foods, smoked or otherwise, but with enjoying cooking know that salt is needed in a lot of dishes and this really is a good accompaniment to enhance and up-flavour dishes.

Arrived swiftly and adds a wonderful extra dimension to anything! Recommend.

Looks big in the pic and the price is the same as I bought the big one at the supermarket, didn't realise it's just 50g! And now I'm stuck with it with no return possible!

I ordered this online thinking the pot would be bigger because of the price but its the same size at the one in waitrose.

I highly recommend buying smoked sea salt, just not from Amazon - have found cheaper in general supermarkets!
