If you are putting these on 6.4 Hemi you are at the right place
When I got my challenger scat pack I loved the factory exhaust note and I really did not want to ruin what Dodge has spent countless hours on R&D to create. I listened to every sound clip I could find on YouTube (hooked up to good sound system no iPhone speaker trash) and read countless reviews across different websites. My final deciding factor was that if I spent 1400 dollars on a full exhaust I would not get any increase in HP due to the fact Chrysler squeezed every ounce they could out of the 6.4 and picked up the last bit of power gain with the bigger exhaust with a factory x pipe.I heard a muffler delete in person and honestly I thought it sounded like trash, raspy and sloppy. Maybe if it was a Saturday night special but for a more daily vehicle not ideal. I opted for these Dynomax mufflers for two reasons. 1: sound gain at a higher rpm and the resonation cancellation (due to the fact these are really resonators and not mufflers) without the rasp of no mid mufflers at all. 2: Cost. At this price and a muffler shop to weld them in for 100 bucks if I didn’t like it I could have the factory mids welded back in (never going to happen)The sound that these bullets make on the car is sensational. You would never know cruising around town or at freeway speed because there is no drone whatsoever. You get a little more growl when you lightly lean into the throttle than stock, enough to show a presence and that the world knows you ain’t no V6. I personally believe IMHO that this is how a “modern” muscle car should sound or even come from the factory. You also will notice a little more burble and pop with downshifts at the correct rpm. And let me tell you when you lean into it the symphony of there’s no replacement for displacement comes alive!!!So from someone that is super picky about sounds that spent months obsessing over the best option for a better sounding 6.4 take my advice and pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed. Oh and one other thing. They deepen up with age and just sound better and better!

This sounds so sick…
The media could not be loaded. The way this sounds makes me wanna put a second one on. This is an old school in-line 6. On a cold start, you’d swear someone just started up their Hellcat. Yeah it’s that deep of a sound. Sounds vicious but has that perfect race car sound when you get on it. It’s built with great material. It’s the perfect fit for my car.

Sounds AMAZING on 6.4 Hemi and X pipe delete
Sounds amazing on 6.4 scat pack. Don’t be afraid of being too loud. It’s low and deep until you get on it. So at cruising, you’re not going to wake your neighbors. Get on it and wake the dead! Oh and delete the x pipe! It sounds best as true dual set up. Some may argue that you lose horse power deleting the x pipe but most exhaust guys say the difference is very minimal. For the sound I really wanted, I chose to spare the minimal difference for the maximum sound!

your in the right spot don’t leave yet
The media could not be loaded. Okay so prior to pulling the trigger on these I was extremely nervous as most the reviews on these were scats, hemis, srt8s, and a variety of other stuff. I found one vette on YouTube, and that one had long tube headers as well. I only have an x-pipe, and these bullets everything else stock. Let me tell you these really woke up the car I had no idea it was even possible considering how quiet the damn thing was before. When I first hopped in it felt LOUD. Like really loud. Eventually you get used to it and it’s very reasonable, however the drone at 1-2k rpm on about half throttle is a bit rough. Not terrible, but there. Considering that the previous exhaust systems I was looking at were about 1-2 thousand dollars, and my primary, cost effective choice was a straight pipe, I cannot complain whatsoever . If you’re thinking about going straight pipe, do yourself a favor and throw these on first. Just the right amount of rumble, deeper tone, and a tad bit of drone, without the awful rasp of a pure straight pipe. I would’ve wanted to see as many clips as possible before buying these, so I’ll try to do the same as these are pretty low key compared to borla, magnaflow, other big brands , etc. in the end I couldn’t be happier with my choice however, and nothing beats the price of 35 dollars per bullet to sound this good

This is the right answer for 6.4 challengers.
If you're looking for that deep classic muscle-car growl out of your scatpack without being obnoxious and raspy/poppy this is what you're looking for (the Vibrants sound almost exactly the same for 3x the price, they're straight-through race bullets, they're pretty much all the same) Replace the factory mufflers with these BUT LEAVE THE RESONATORS IN! Without the resonators your exhaust will pop like some kids poorly tuned Honda. If you decide it's still not loud enough (unlikely, unless your goal is to be obnoxious) you can always replace the factory resonators with another set of these down the line. It'll pop but not nearly as much as if you just deleted the resonators.Replacing the mufflers with these keeps the gorgeous sound of the 6.4 but makes it deeper and louder. Cold starts sound MEAN without pissing off the whole neighborhood and it really roars like a classic muscle-car when you're hard in the throttle. At idle or when you're keeping the throttle under 50% it's deep and rumbles but isn't "look at me!" loud, if you go easy you can roll into your neighborhood at night and not bother anybody. There will obviously be an increase in exhaust drone in the cabin but these cars are soundproofed well and it's nice to hear the engine, not bothersome at all even on long trips at highway speeds. If you decide it's too much in the cabin you can always just lay a soundproofing mat in the trunk and it'll quiet it right down in the cab.If you can't weld then make sure you take it to a reputable muffler shop and drop the couple hundred bucks to have these welded in, don't just hack the mufflers out with a sawsall and clamp the race bullets on, it'll leak and sound terrible. Check that your exhaust tips are level and centered before you leave.
