Q: Are they used to measure 60% peroxide?

The most upper level of the color chart is at 1000 ppm which is equivalent to 0.1%. Amounts over this level would have to be diluted to be diluted substantially (at least 600 to 1) in order to use this strip. Very strong solutions of hydrogen peroxide may darken the strip and almost immediately "bleach" out the color change. To verify a 60% solution I would not recommend this strip.

Q: Will these strips verify the strength of undiluted h2o2 eg vol 40?

We see that volume 40 is equivalent to 12% hydrogen peroxide solution. This strength solution is well above the maximum gradation of 1,000 ppm. 12% solution would be 120,000 ppm. To bring the solution to approx. 500 ppm the solution would have to be diluted 1:240. If you would like a copy of the insert for this item please let us know and we can forward one to you.

Q: What is expiration date of these strips?

Mine said 9/30/2020 and I bought them in July 2018. So roughly 2 year self-life.

Good morning,All test strips are calibrated/developed for room temperature.Normally cooler temperatures are influencing/reducing the reaction speed (Le Chatelier's principle) while warmer temperatures speed it up. This could lead to wrong results. In general, it’s recommended for users to check standard solutions the influence on the reaction speed and validate the method.Note: Peroxide strips are more temperature sensitive than most other test strips and should not be stored above 85 degrees F.
