Smart World Company CP-AA Carplay Wireless dongle Adapter 2 in1 Android Auto and Apple Carplay

The media could not be loaded. This product did exactly what I needed. My car only has Apple CarPlay, and my phone is android. So, unless I wanted to change my 2019 Camry or change my phone, there's no way to use the phone apps on the car screen. I got this hoping it would work, and it was perfect right out of the box. Honestly, it took about 1 minute to set up and worked exactly the way I wanted. I'm so thrilled about this - it's probably the best purchase I've made in the last year. I'm attaching a video to show it installed. Oh, and I get my phone apps running wirelessly, so I couldn't be happier. If anything breaks then I'll update the review, but I doubt it will have issues (hope I didn't jinx myself). I hope this helps you!

Not only did it take forever to even ship, but it was also posted to delay multiple times so it literally took almost a month from ordering to receiving it. Once attached, it barely held a connection, and it would disconnect frequently from the phone/ car. Not worth the money, it wait time. Look elsewhere.

I have tried the device for 27 days. The product worked on my 2022 Subaru WRX, however the entire software is very buggy. Pairing the device took forever and very complicated. Android Auto would disconnect randomly each time and constant crashes on the app itself. I would not recommend it for $150 bucks.

The media could not be loaded. Just got back from a month long trip. Purchased this to get Android auto on a 2019 Toy Rav4 hybrid. Worked almost flawlessly. Goggle map, Amazon music, audible, Pandora, Tune in, and audacy all worked well. We did Route 66 and used two different apps and got audio turn by turn directions. Would have been a difficult trip without this.

I would give 2 star. Although the first evaluation was quite bad, but after upgrading the firmaware, several issues were cleared, and was quite happy initially with the features, and ease of use. However, the unit still is not stable. After almost 30 minutes of operation, the unit starts disconnecting and reconnecting, almost every 2 minutes, making it totally unusable.I will try to contact customer support, and hope they can fix this issue. If yes, I will definitely update this evaluation, and give it a higher rating, as i like the ease of support, and its functionality.

I had a different(cheaper) wireless android adapter, and while it worked, it didn't give me full screen navigation like the apple carplay gets.This does it flawlessly. Just make sure you are connecting to the adapter's name, not the car's name on Bluetooth.Once it's setup, it's a passive device, you don't do anything. You just start the car, and in a few seconds it pairs.6 stars if I could.

I was super excited about this thing. I plugged it in and it worked, I then touched the wire and it went out. After waiting for it to connect again, I hit a bump and then it went out again. While using maps with this dongle, it's so glitchy for the first couple of mins that it showed me driving in a river. It then corrected itself, when I use the usb into my phone I do not have this issue.Waste of money. Don't buy

On a 25 mile trip this product disconnected 6 times. It was tested on 3 different vehicles and on 3 different phones, the same results in all of them, don't waste your time contacting customer services, they never respond back.
