Works great for recording studio live room cable runs. Not very much room for thick cables.
This worked great for what Im using it for. I record bands and have cables that run across the room that get stepped on or just have potential to snag a foot and trip someone. This is a good solution. The channels are not very big at all so they won't fit very fat cables or a lot of cables. I only needed to tuck a few mic cables and a camera cable and this was the perfect solution. It also fit a mic snake on a separate occasion. The room looks cleaner, the bright yellow on the ramp is obvious, and the ramp design allows to roll amps over without having the lift them up too much. I'm not sure about the 22,000 pound claim but the rubber it's made of is extremely sturdy. The cover however, I would imagine, would buckle since it just seems like standard plastic. Either way, it does work fine for people walking over it and rolling heavy amps over it. I It protects the cables perfectly. One thing to note: It had a horrible rubber smell to it that just filled up the room. We couldn't get rid of it even after a few days of airing the ramp out outside. I washed it with some soap and that seems to neutralize it only a little, it's still noticeable. Just beware if using this indoors. So far, I'm happy with it and think its worth it for what Im using it for.

Absolutely JUNK! Can't give less than 1 star.
Purchased to use in a campground (with a 5 mile an hour speed limit) with 90% golf carts. Within 1 car going over it the lids ripped off. The stakes (with washers to give more surface area) were ripped out by the end of the first day. On day 2 they completely collapsed when a full size pickup drove over it. I specifically purchased these because of the weight limit hoping we could use them around the farm when not camping. If they don't hold up to golf carts and regular sized pickups they would never hold up to even a small tractor.I feel these were a complete waste of money and do not recommend! If I can edit this later I will load pictures after using them for 2 days.

Okay to prevent trip hazards
I purchased this unit for use in a walk-in attic. As an amateur radio enthusiast, I have almost a dozen coaxial cables running from outside antennas through the attic into the radio room. The cables are bulky; most are .5", and are strung across the attic floor, creating a tripping hazard.I installed this unit in the attic, eliminating the tripping hazard. The channel inside the unit was large enough to place all dozen cables inside by creating several 3" diameter bundles. Some have documented the failure of the unit to sustain vehicle weight; as my use was indoors, I did not test it for that level of strength.PROs: Strong enough to support human weight ( Did not test for vehicles), Highly visible even in low light, cable channel can fit up to 6" of cablesCONS: Horrible vulcanized rubber smell when first opened. I had to leave the unit outside for three days for it to off-gas. The smell has subsided, but our attic now reeks of raw rubber.RATING: 5/5 The Product met my expectations; I may re-evaluate later if required to support vehicle weight.

Sending out "new" in "used" condition?
It functions properly, but there is seemingly no quality control. Almost every aspect of the cable protector is damaged in one form or another. It'll be easy to install, and it'll do its job... but come on. A little quality control would be nice.
