A slim 1TB WD Black for $66? Yes please!
Works well and at a great price for a WD black 1TB! I put one of these in my wife's Mini ITX build with some minor issues (based on case). I will be purchasing more down the road for my future builds!

Hybrid 2.5"
I like it and it is not zippy like an SSD but it will last longer than one. It doesn't glitch playing full screen video or when thumbing through pictures . I believe the audio and visual are better. Slower better, huh. Unique in any case. Takes it's time to do it right and gets better with use.

Faster than regular hard drives
Seems to work OK, but I think my old Seagate SSHD was just a bit faster, especially on bootup.

Fast, great value.
Way faster than the 7200 rpm Barracuda HDD that it replaced. I wish I would have benchmarked the old drive, but it was failing. Suffice it to say, boot time has been easily cut in half.

False specs
I got the hybrid drive after having issues with my old ssd only to find out the read/write capabilities of the drive are not at all what is being advertised. The hybrid drive takes about 5-10 minutes to boot up every time. The thing even seems to max out while navigating my files. It’s a cool idea that just doesn’t work, just stick with a SSD & HDD it’s worth the slightly elevated price. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

Huge savings with a minor replacement...
Was looking for a replacement for a fried hard drive. I had all but thrown the laptop it belonged in away. Found this on Amazon and in a few days I had a trashed computer up and running again for a fraction of the replacement cost. You can truly find or replace anything on this site.

So far it looks pretty and fits in the computer correctly
So far this thing gets three stars from me. So far it hasn't blown up and lost all of my data.So far it looks pretty and fits in the computer correctly. So far, it's the slowest modern HDD I have _EVER_ interacted with. Hell, I bet an old 2GB Quantum FireBall 5.25" IDE HDD would outperform this.I'm half tempted to dig one up and try it. It's that bad. I went from a slow (relative) eMMC 128GB SSD to this due to needing space badly. Since it was a low end and slower flash style SSD I didn't think it would be that different. My PC went from booting windows 10 in about 8 seconds from power on to desktop with all apps launched, to about 3 minutes. I cloned the drive, swapped back and forth to make sure, re-ordered the partitions after, tried everything. This thing is insanely slow.As an example of why I bought this thing in the first place, I used a 2.5" seagate hybrid drive in the past and it was MUCH faster than a typical non hybrid HDD. This thing on the other hand is slower than my oldest laptop drive still in use. An IBM Travelstar 20GB from my Thinkpad 600 from 2000. Yeah.I'm still happy with it for the price. So far. All it needs to do now is be reliable.I just wanted to give you a heads up on the fact that it made my fast quad core machine with 16GB RAM feel like I went back in time and jumped on a 486DX trying to run Windows ME or XP. bits of the Windows UI actually have to load between things like right clicking, icons populate one at a time on your desktop, the password field actually takes 5 seconds to show up after clicking on the login screen. The kind of thing you forgot you used to put up with when using old computers.Typically these style of drives will get a bit quicker with time as they determine what files get accessed the most, and subsequently put them on the 8GB of SSD flash. I will admit that I've only been using the system for five or six days so far. However my prior use of the Seagate hybrid was so much faster out of the box that this came as a shock. Don't take this as me shilling for Seagate either. I never liked them. The only drives I have ever truely trusted over the years have been Samsung Spinpoints. NEVER had a drive failure with them. Did have one with bad sectors, but I used it for about 8 years and it only gracefully developed a few more which it automatically replaced with spares. Never any data loss.Ever since Seagate bought Samsung's HDD division I've been lost when it comes to drives. "Samsung by Seagate" just weirds me out. Most likely still the best drives out there though. For those who question my ability to determine fast from slow;I'm a computer technician. I've never owned a pre-built computer in my life. I've been building and repairing PCs since I was a child. I've used computers with ISA text only graphics cards that had some 256KB or video page buffer.

Works well
Used this HD to upgrade my laptop. The HD works fine and faster once I figured out how to do the copy and transfer the data. Nice upgrade done.
