Q: Does anyone know how to get these into pairing mode? I got a new wifi so need to re-set them up to that but cant get them into pairing mode at all.

I think it was just turn it off for at least 10 seconds and then turn it on again. However it isn't entirely obvious which is off and which is on. So try both possibilities. You might have to press and jd to reset it?

Yes. You can buy individual sensors on Amazon.

Q: Don't want to link to any smart devices - just wi-fi. is it easy to connect to the app and can i just read the temp and rh info via smart life app?

Yes. Linked easily with house wifi and monitored by the Smart Life app

Q: what is the range of the Wifi in meters

The furthest I have is 9 metres away. This is inside with 2 floors and a wall between them. But I have had to pop in lithium batteries as normal alkaline batteries (including Duracell ultra) only seem to reliably maintain the data link for 1-2 months. Closer to the router I’m on 6 months with no battery change from Amazon own brand batteries. I’ve moved units around to make sure it wasn’t just a faulty unit. So for me at least I’m just in range with 9 metres if I can maintain that fresh battery power boost.
