ValvolineFull Synthetic High Mileage with MaxLife Technology 5W-30 Motor Oil 1 QT

This is now my standard oil for my 2014 CRV. Has reduced, but not totally eliminated, oil consumption (not a leak) I experienced using Mobil1 Advanced or Extended, or other synthetic 0W20 motor oils I've tried in the past. My purchased new CRV has over 145,000 miles, & to be honest my oil change intervals were too far apart in earlier years. It wasn't taken care of well enough then, trying to reduce wear and extend vehicle life now as long as possible. MPG is not as good as with Mobil1, but 2 years (4 oil changes) of oil change analysis from BlackStone Labs shows sub 5PPM metal(s) per 1,000 miles, which is considered a good level of engine wear for a vehicle after break-in. I'm changing this oil every 6 months, and approximately 6,000 miles. Oil change analysis shows I could go longer, but I don't want to. Low cost quality motor oil I can affordably change every 6 months, along with a Mobil 1 M1-110A Extended Performance Oil Filter. Oil analysis shows this is a good combination on a car that wasn't given enough love earlier on in it's life. Great value and helps make changing the oil in all the cars quick and easy. Additionally, putting the dirty oil back into them makes oil recycling much easier then the quart size bottles.Had an issue with the original order as the oil opened and leaked out wverywhere, but Amazon took care of it and sent a replacement

Good product and a good price. Be sure to tighten cap and place in a plastic bag in case a little oil leaks out, as it did in my case. Box had soaked oil spots on it.Thank you
