Excellent desk riser
I was looking for a simple to use desk riser, with a large work surface, enough room for 2 monitors and this checks all my boxes. The setup was very simple - it is a little heavy so you might want help from someone else, but you can do it by yourself. Just put on your tabletop or desk, plug in and it's ready to go. I like that it's electric - easy to raise and lower. Very sturdy. This one has a very large work surface - more than enough room for 2 largish monitors and enough room left to be able to work as well. I like that the keyboard is below and is on a slide out. The USB port on the side is extremely helpful for charging my phone. I spend about half the day standing, the other half I lower and use it while sitting. The ONLY drawback, and it's not a big one, is that when fully in the down position, it is still several inches high which means you need a chair that will raise up to be able to work on the surface. Other than that - buy this one - you won't regret it.

Delivers Perfectly!
Purchased this for my day job and it has been amazing. I found that I was either leaning far back in my chair, or slumping over at my desk while working. It was wreaking havoc on my back.I purchased this because I didn't want to be limited to ONLY standing throughout the day. And it has delivered. First off, the set-up was extremely simple. You only have to attach two feet to help grip the desk. Everything else is assembled. This made me feel better that I am not risking putting something together incorrectly and would walk in to my computer and monitors all over the place one morning.I have this holding two monitors with plenty of room to spare. The desk easily switches from standing to sitting and vice versa. It does take a few times to get used to how to actually put the desk down. I was a bit nervous at the beginning that I was going to knock things over and couldn't quite get the desk to go to the sitting position. But after working through it a few times, it's now a breeze.I've been using this for a few weeks now, and am extremely pleased. It works as advertised. It's very well built. And my back has been feeling great. I've also had everyone in my office stop in and ask where I got this because they want to get it for their desk.Great product. Well worth the buy.

Everything I Wanted For a Great Price!
The media could not be loaded. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this desktop converter and so far, am very happy with the purchase.I was looking for a motorized version AND one with a retractable keyboard tray. This one had both options and was lower in price than some of the name brand products. It’s incredibly sturdy, and a really good value for the money. I also love that there is zero assembly required. You take it out of the box and set it on your desk. I did it myself, and I’m a 60 year-old woman! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because although the keyboard tray retracts, it is a little difficult to get it to slide open and close. Other than that, great purchase!

You could spend lots more, but why? This thing is great!
I love this thing so much that I can't imagine the expensive brand is any better! After years of feeling stuck in my desk chair, I wanted a change. I've had this riser for 2 weeks and have only spent about an hour in my chair since. It's very sturdy and substantial, but not as heavy and unweildy as I expected. My husband carried it in and set it up for me by himself. I don't think he even had to do any assembly. It moves up and down very easily (I'm 49, 5'4") and the height is great for sitting or standing. I don't need to extend it all the way up, so I imagine it would be good for taller people as well. It's very solid and doesn't move at all when I type or even lean on it, so the wobbling issue that people mentioned with other brands is nonexistent with the Apex. Lowering it takes a little practice, but is very easy once you practice a bit. Raising it involves pulling the handles and desk top upward, while lowering it is more of of a releasing motion asa mentioned by another reviewer. I highly recommend this desk riser.

Apex Desk Riser with a Wacom 27 inch Cintiq Monitor
Hello. I just felt the need to post for fellow artists... I have spent some time researching many desk risers, looking for one capable of handling the heavy Wacom Cintiq 27 inch Tablet/Monitor and stand. I am an artist who has recently made the transition to digital. I have a Wacom 27 inch Cintiq tablet that, when just sitting on my desk, does not give me the flexibility that I need. This Wacom monitor is just too far away from me and did not allow me to paint without restrictions. Since the Wacom Tablet/Monitor and the "stand" combined has a weight of approximately 55 pounds, it was important to find a desk riser that would be able to support that weight. I found Apex Desk and am very glad that I did. Besides being a very reasonably priced desk riser, the max "weight" load blew all of its competitors away. While most are ready for a 19+ inch monitor or 2, this desk riser allows you to configure for at least 50+ pounds.Anyway, I could not be happier. Set-up was incredibly easy. Just remove the desk riser from the packaging and set it up on your desk. Plug it in and you're ready to go. This desk is awesome! It's incredibly sturdy and allows me to get out of my chair and paint like I'm in front of an easel. Thanks, ApexDesk... I highly recommend...
