Runs Hot. Short lifespan.
I purchased this to replace the power supply of a Swann security camera DVR. The listing information shows it as a direct replacement for the original. This power supply runs very hot to the touch. Although the product works, it does not have a long life. I get about one year between failures. I’m on my third one now. Fairly inexpensive so I keep a spare. This security system is in my vacation home and I’m away for as long as 90 days at a time. It is frustrating when the part fails as my security system is out of service and I can’t get back to fix it for a long time. I wish I could find a suitable replacement with better internal cooling that would work for a longer time.

Total garbage
Lasted 14 months before failure. Capacitors blew and it has got so hot it literally split in half. Potential fire hazard. Don't buy. I bought a different brand to replace it.
