This worked great to replace a broken aerial on an old Roberts DAB radio. It's dead easy to install on any radio with the "F" type connector - you simply screw it on like screwing a nut onto a bolt. It screws on easily and then forms a tight connection.It's solidly built and feels like good quality - the metal feels thick and durable. Even the last, thinnest sections feel strong.It telescopes out into 11 sections, a total length of 65cm / 25".The DAB reception with the radio installed is great, picking up the full range of DAB channels available in my area in every room of the house.Definitely worth buying if your existing aerial is broken, or to replace a lower-quality aerial - especially if you just have a basic wire or something similar. Just check your radio has a suitable "F" type connector.

Bought for my Marantz amp to replace the trailing aerial that you have to feed like ivy all over the house. This one looks way neater, just retune stations once fitted. It doesn't work as good as the trailing one for some stations in my house, but DAB is so fickle sometimes and it depends how strong the signal in your area is. Overall I'm pleased though as its a far neater solution.

After years of the DAB radio not working on the aerial wire, after fitting this simple device, I can now listen to the radio again. I would say that the signal is still not the strongest but that may be down to my hifi unit.

Bought this too replace the wire aerial you get with a denon DM 41 DAB that l recently purchased.its very good and actually out performs the aerial supplied by denon,which is just a piece of wire really but no doubt engineered to work well, but not too pleasant to look at draped over the wall.

After working perfectly fine for quite some time, the amplified aeriel I was using with my micro system decided to only provide FM signals and would resolutely provide nothing in the way of DAB reception. Gave this a go, not really expecting anything to be honest, but it worked perfectly. The micro system now has DAB reception once again. Cheap and cheerful and does what it says on the tin. Recommended.

Another was previously purchased as an FM/DAB aerial for another radio; compared with this it was far lighter and very flimsy. This is surprisingly heavy and even the thinnest section seems quite robust.It is working very well and is apparently superior to the nasty wire dipole supplied and previously used.
