well, at least the birthday boy liked them
i'm reluctant to say cheap & nasty, they weren't cheap and they're not really nasty, and they were a birthday present for a friend because - wait for it - he's a drummer! oh how we laughed.they're a gag gift, you certainly couldn't actually use them for drumming, and whilst they make a sort-of drum noise it's the very worst kind of synth drum crash boom bang. and not all the buttons worked, so he couldn't change the drum sounds, but he lauged when he opened them - cos he's a drummer, ho ho ho - and he thought it was a nice thing to do, he semed quite touched that i'd bothered. and that's the main thing, right?

good gift, lots of fun,, flimsy cheap buttons
it works, but the buttons are VERY flimsy.i can see the buttons breaking after a few weeks of child-interaction.but anyway,, its fun and enjoyable and a good gift for kids ;)

Drums that go with you everywhere?!
The media could not be loaded. These things are kids that want to make noise everywhere they go. In the car, on the streets, at a party, everywhere.You can play along with the song built in or on your own.There is supposed to be 3 drum sounds but they all sounded the same to me but hey who cares.Pick em up and play to you favourite song

Pathetic, my 2yr old got bored after 5mins
4 sounds overall that don’t sound anything like drums or cymbals. 2 buttons stopped working within 2 mins and my two year old son got bored after 5… He prefers to use real wooden sticks and hit pillows rather than this tacky, plastic waste of money!

Not even that much of a cool toy.
I bought it because I was curious if some of the sounds could be used to sample in real music, but no go. The sounds are very limited and sound pretty bad even for a toy. One stick has a button that got stuck inside (I still managed to make it work, but the quality is very poor). Using it by simply smashing at things is not very fun and sometimes it doesn't even respond, so trying to make any kind of rhythm is almost impossible. Not recommended.
