Dr Bronner's Peppermint Castile Liquid Soap - 473ml

This is crazy - who would have thought anyone could find so many uses for a bottle of concentrated soap? Emanuel Heilbronner (the inventor) and several million Americans going back over 70 years, apparently. That the company champions some great causes, including those related to animal rights, GMOs and fair-trade, and imposes pay caps on all its executives, is a refreshing change these days.I’m new to this stuff but already a convert, having used it in various dilutions for all-over body washing as well as cleaning around the home. Reusing old hand-wash pumps by re-filling them with this soap means you can keep pretty much the whole house going for months on a single bottle of Dr Bronner’s.This is the company’s most popular soap, and it’s easy to see why – peppermint oil is (apparently) a mild stimulant, so using it in the shower gives you an instant tingle. A strange but certainly not unpleasant sensation! Dilution rates are available online (there’s even a ‘cheat sheet’ available on the company’s website), but typically I use something like 1 part Dr Bronner’s to 8 parts water. Washing in the shower sometimes needs a slightly thicker concentration as the shower water tends to dilute everything further.

Lathers up very well but the moment water hits the lathered up sponge, the sponge gets squeaky clean and you'll need to add more product - for this reason the product idoesn't last long (whether diluted or undiluted).You need elbow grease to remove grease, but I found it doesn't cut through bathroom dirt or kitchen grease very well at all, so I had to go back to my usual products. But it did work very well on laminate wood flooring.

Really nice.don’t use on ur face if you have dry skin.feels super refreshing to use as a body and face wash.gives you the squeaky clean feeling.it also lasts a super long time even if you use it everyday.I used it lots and it’s lasted me about a year.

i was told get some peppermint soap to put on my garden because i have miner bees , im sorry to say it did not work but the garden smelled lovely
