It just works and saves time
Got this to protect my finished paintings. So far it’s working as expected. Spray it on lightly, don’t over apply. Wait for it to fully harden before touching.Leaves strong durable coating on your painting and really quick and easy to apply. Evens out brush marks and makes the appearance of the painting more consistent.I’ve not seen any discolouration in my artwork. Only time will tell how it stands up.While not as cheap as applying with a paintbrush you get quicker and better results. With that in mind I think it’s value for money.

Works brilliantly
This has been one of my go too products, works smoothly using gloss on my art work twice and then one coat of matt which smooths my acrylic painting out really nicely, they do tend to dry up quickly than others but recommend leaving another time between coats for it to dryMy only issues which I've seen most people review is the nozzles, highly recommend buying spares or keeping the nozzle in water after use as they tend to get clogged up and stop working or not as well as they should which can cause some issues

Use this regularly for mixed media paintings
Been using Liquitex matte spray varnish on my paintings for a few years. Great quality varnish, I always wait for a dry day to varnish outdoors and do a few coats with drying time between. You can never see the varnish after, which I like, because it dries matte. I’ve had paintings varnished with this in direct sunlight for a couple of years and no yellowing or fading as yet.

Great Product
A regular user of this product to finish textured artworks where a liquid varnish may get caught in the textured surface and leave 'blobs' of varnish. Does the job well.

Easy to use
I use this for sealing alcohol ink art. It does activate the ink but very slightly with careful thin layers. It doesn't smell strong, it's easy to handle, reasonable price so I'm very happy. I just bought my second bottle and I will come back to it when I run out.

Liquitex matte fixative
Works very well with different kind of mediums.I use it on color pencils, watercolor and gouache. No smudging at all. Nice matte finish.

Doesn't play well with oils
I bought this to spray over miniatures before adding an oil wash. Sadly it seemed to react with the oil wash and I wound up chucking the model away after it still hadn't dried after several days. It does work fine as a general varnish though and gives a pleasing matte finish.
