Arden Grange Adult Dry Cat Food Sensitive, Fish, 2 Kg

My cat (coincidentally called Cat) absolutely loves this!With other dry food I would add a topper (those yoghurty cat treats) and she would lick that off and only eat the dry food when desperately hungryWith this food I still add a little topper for some moisture but she actually eats the food in the first bite!With all wet foods she was having horrendously stinky and wet poos, with this one there’s a lot less smell and poo is very formed and solid, being grain free is definitely the way to goDoes it have a strong fish smell? YesDoes the fish smell come through the bag when resealed? Nope!Is cats poo sticky and smelly? Nope!This will be my normal cat food purchase! Have subscribed and saved

My friend recommended Arden Grange so a while ago I changed my 2 indoor cats on the chicken variety. I was looking for a good quality cat food that didn't cost the earth. Good quality, human grade products, made in the UK etc. The transition was easy and both my cats are it without any problem.Recently, one of my cats kept being sick - I know that sometimes they eat too quickly and the food bounces (so to speak). But she was being sick more frequently so I looked for an alternative and found this sensitive variety. I didn't mix the two varieties of Arden Grange - I just put a bowl of this down. So far so good. A week later and she hasn't been sick once! She even comes to tell me when her bowl is empty!!My other cat has also decided that she likes it too. I left a bowl of the chicken out and she turned her nose up at it and went and pinched her sisters sensitive food.The food doesn't have an overpowering fishy smell - as someone who hates fish I can tolerate it. It is slightly more expensive than the chicken variety buy I have two happy and healthy cats, I couldn't be happier. :-)

I have a fussy 10 year old fish loving persian with a sensitive tummy. She was doing fine on iams chicken from kittenhood to 2 years old and then it started giving her runny tummy because of the very high grain content. Switched her to a couple other grain free brands with poultry over the course of a few years after that which she thrived on, but she got bored of eating them. I put her on this food 4 years ago and she still loves it and cleans her plate til this very day. Something about fish drives her nuts. Either way her tummy is happy and I'm happy. Loses a star for me as price keeps going up :(

This food has had an amazing effect, I could see a difference in my cat's behaviour and attitude immediately after just one serving. My girl had become manic with her itching. She'd been biting herself creating sores and licking herself bald and despite a round of steroids from the vet's (which helped only while she was on them) she went right back to itching and destroying her skin and coat. The severity of the itching came on so quickly that I thought it might have been an environmental allergy but after researching specific food allergies, I decided to try a grain and rice free formula. After reading the reviews here I decided to try this food. She gobbled it up and stopped itching straight away - I was shocked at how quickly she'd responded. She gets both wet and dry food and the dry she was on was a high-end brand but it had rice in it. Within two days I could see her hair was growing back where she'd licked it bald, her sores were healing and she was what could only be described as joyful. She's now been eating this alongside her wet (Felix) for just over a week now and is full of beans and creating havoc like she did when she was a teenager. Her coat is growing back beautifully and even her eyes are clear (she always had dark tear stuff ) I have four cats and still give the others the old dry food but she won't touch it now, this is her preferred food over all else. I am so happy and relieved, I think we both are! I know another reviewer complained about the smell but I don't think its strong at all and it doesn't stay in the bowl long enough to notice and as to what's left in the box, no worse than anything else. I cannot recommend this food highly enough and I am so thankful (so is my girl!) to the other reviewers for sharing their success stories otherwise I might not have tried it, which is why I am sharing mine. I only wish I'd tried it sooner but will definitely be keeping her on this one.

My cat absolutely loved this food. He would only mainly eat wet foods, which unfortunately was taking a toll on his digestion and health. He was never a fan of any dry foods, but he now he meows and begs me to fill up his bowl with Arden Grange sensitive cat food. His health is notably better all round, and he is using the litterbox with a lot more ease than previously.It's great finding a product that is beneficial for his health overall and that he actually likes (he's picky).I've seen a few reviews regarding the smell, it does have a strong fishy smell but its not too noticeable. Especially if you are not often near your cats food bowl. To be honest, I have no issues with the smell at all! Especially when this product works wonders for my cat and his health. :)

I have three cats and one has a very sensitive stomach. He was being sick after nearly every meal of normal wet supermarket wet food or biscuits. All three cats have been eating this for a week now and it is fantastic. My ragdoll cat usually begs a lot however he seems to be fuller and content after eating. My sensitive cat has blossomed in a week. He has gained weight and has not been sick once. Yes it is expensive compared to supermarket brands but its true that you are what you eat. Its so worth it.

I’m disappointed to find that a 4kg bag of Arden Grange is actually 244 grams light. The previous bag (same order) was also light but I put that down to a one off. I weigh the food before putting into an auto-feeder, and I deduct the weight of the packaging for accuracy. Note I have tested the scales against other know weights.
