Works great
This unit has met my expectations. I was hoping it would exceed them, because the small home I live in is EXTREMELY dry while running the heat in winter.Waking up with rocks in my nose and itchy legs has been no fun. I had a Rainbow RainMate, and it wasn't even putting a dent into my problem... Every digital hygrometer in the room registered "10%" humidity, which is the bare minimum they can even indicate... meaning the humidity was anywhere between 1 and 10 percent relative humidity at that time.So enter the Breezome.... My relative humidity is now 23 to 36 across all my reporting hygrometers.... The itchy skin is totally gone, and the nose rocks are at a relative minimum. They'd be totally eliminated if I could get it up into the 45% humidity range without having to double up humidifiers, but I'm very happy and appreciative of the improvement it's made for me. In hindsight, a larger unit capable of more output would have resolved this, so I don't blame the unit.Running this thing at max settings, it consumes a little over 7 quarts per day... This is a much higher water intake usage than the advertised 60 hours per fill. That is okay though, I'm assuming their pronounced rate was based on lowest settings when less humidity boost is needed.Overall, this unit works nicely, looks good, and is easy to maintain. The water tank can be lifted off and filled in the kitchen sink like a large pitcher, or you can just pop the cap off with tank in place and fill it with a jug instead... the latter is how I do it; sometimes I don't even bother turning it off while refilling, and it keeps chuggin on just fine. The little multicolor LED inside the tank serves the practical purpose of delineating the water level in the sight-glass built into the tank. If it runs out of water, it'll shut down and beep a few times to politely ask for a refill, before going quiet. It has humidity control, where you can set the desired relative humidity threshold to between 55% and 90%. I leave mine on minimum, as it'll likely never reach that level for me during winter anyway. I like to use this feature because while idle, it shows its own measure of the room's ambient humidity level, which is handy and seemingly accurate too, in concensus with my other dedicated hygrometers. One button cycles and stops the color of the LED so that it can lock in a preferred color, or it can be left to its default, which just slowly cycles through all the colors, as is trendy with color LEDs these days.It also has a shutoff "sleep" timer built in, as well as some kind of clock program function, both of which I have not explored. It is HIGHLY recommended to use either distilled water (UNenriched!!! meaning NO added minerals) or you can do what I've done and bought a good quality filtered pitcher (like Brita or Pűr brand) to dedicate to filling this and other ultrasonic style humidifiers you may have in the house. If you don't feed these things clean filtered/distilled water, they scale up and get cruddy fast... don't take shortcuts with this step!Also... I know your refrigerator may have a sufficient water filter built in, but only exercise this option if you have time to let the water settle to ambient room temperature before running it in your unit.My tap water comes out VERY cold, so as soon as I refill the tank, I immediately run the Brita pitcher and pour it into a clean Arizona Tea jug, where I let that jug sit on the table beside the humidifier for the 12 or so hours it'll take to burn off that last gallon I fed it... that way the next pour will be as warm as the machine, and this will reduce stress on the unit, allowing it to live a longer life as it serves me.It's also virtually silent.Good buy, highly recommend!

Must Have
Great Humidifier, great output, very low noise and can sleep easily with it running, easy set up, super easy to refill. Great product for the price. Will purchase another.

Large capacity diffuser makes no difference
I researched may humidifier before settling on this one. I like the large capacity. It runs about a day and a half on a tank of water. Have noticed my eyes aren't as dry. One thing I really wanted with a humidifier was an oil diffuser. Sadly this one does not put out any scent. I actually saturated the little pad and nothing. If you are looking for just a humidifier, this one works well. If you are looking for one with a diffuser, look elsewhere.

Works great! Affordable, easy to refill.
I feel like these are a great buy at a good price. I bought 2 for my townhouse. I've had them not quite a week, huge improvement. Easy to set up, easy to refill. I have not cleaned them yet, recommended once a week, comes with a cleaning sponge. Quiet, has multiple settings, puts out a lot of moisture on #3 settings, lights change colors, nit too bright, perfect in my bedroom. Definitely recommend if you need in a smaller space. It is messy when refilling, when you pull the top up it obviously drips from sitting in the base of water, common sense, easy solution put a towel down when you refill.

Simple and easy to use for plants/green house
We’ve had this humidifier for a couple of weeks now and it is still working great. It runs 18 hours a day because we are using it for plants. We haven’t had any issues with it at all. Here is what we like about it.1. You can fill it from the top. It has a nice little handle so you can carry it with ease if your water isn’t close by. This is a big deal. If you’ve had other humidifiers that you cannot fill from the top, then you know what I’m talking about. It can be a nightmare and your chances of water going everywhere are pretty high.2. It is black in color and does not let light in. This is important because then no algae can grow inside. Sounds gross but this is what happens when clear humidifiers are under plant lights. Definitely get the humidifier drops as well. They help with any residue or scaling.3. Easy to clean. We just pull the top off and rinse it out.4. Very simplistic controls. You can choose between multiple humidity levels from 55%, 65, 75, 85 and 90%. It also has 4 speed levels and a night light. It does have a sleep timer as well.So far it has been great for us. Like I said we’re using it for plants. We spent a lot of time researching humidifiers and trying to find the right one for what we are doing. We hope this review helps anyone that is trying to find a great humidifier for a small grow tent or grow room.

Very pleased
Works great and is very quiet. My only gripe is the humidity sensor measures 4-8% lower than actual humidity, so I set the humidistat control to be a little higher. After cleaning the base reservoir recently, vapor plate began leaking all the water out the bottom. I emailed the seller (JIANGNUO) and they sent a replacement within a week. Very pleased with their customer service and the humidifier.

Humidity control is limited.
I use a humidifier year round. I'm looking to maintain humidity in a small living space between 30%-35%, as the heating/cooling unit doesn't have a built in humidity control. Settings on this model are limited between 55%-90%, and only allows adjustment in 5% increments.if you are looking for short term use, this will fit the bill no issue. If you are looking to grow plants with a moist environment, again, it will fit the use. With humidity control limited, it actually falls outside the range I wanted.Mist settings are manually adjustable, both on number of outlets (turn center dial on outlet to close one) and 3 levels. It works as it should, yet really leaves it limited in the types of use you are looking for.For the price, it fills the need for now, until I can research enough to find what I'm looking for.
