didnt work for my car
didnt work for a 2004 pontiac grand prix...wouldnt connect to ecu

Doesn’t work
I can’t give it zero stars so 1 will have to do. Absolutely will not connect to anything. I have tried the password that comes with it and all the common passwords. I have tried several different devices as well. If you want a little red night light that glows from your obd2 port then this is great, if you want anything else find something else. I have had several of these adapters in various styles and while none of them seem to last long they do at least work when you buy the others.

Never knew I could view diganostics
This is pretty cool. It is a simple plug that plugs into your OBD2 port (right under the dash). Several free apps are available in the app store (IOS) to choose from and takes two seconds to install the plug, connect via blueetoooth, and view diagnostics.It will not verify or resolve TPMS issues. You need to buy something more expensive and I still don't know what that is yet.I don't have a check engine light on but if it was on, this would help me understand what is happening with the car.

Wont work with 1999 ford f150
Tried 2 different elm327 adapters. This one clearly states, it works with Torque pro app. Paid for torque pro app. Guess what, surprise it will not work with 1999 Ford F-150, as stated it will!Changed settings, pids, etc. Forms no help, don't even of thinking of any customer support!

Exactly what I needed!
The check engine light goes on/off randomly on my Jeep Grand Cherokee for years. I’ve had 3 mechanics look at it and none of them can figure it out. The last one to look at it told me to get an OBD II reader and clear it out when it comes on so I got this one. It was easy to use, read the code and then cleared it for me using my iPhone. It’s been a couple weeks now and the code is still clear. + I have the screenshot of the code readings for my records.

There's better
There's a lot better units than this one. I've had problems with getting this to connect, then read.I'm using torque pro on an android head unit. This fails my tests, I'm no longer using it, got something else.
