This is a replacement for the suction cup that came with the device and is a good replacement, though it strikes me as a bit expensive for what it is. Neither this nor its predecessor works on our minibus windscreens - too much vibration probably.

It's a looser fit than the original one and I worry the satnav might fall off. It could be cheaper as it's only a bit of hard plastic.

My original needed replacing and bought this one. On first try to mount on windscreen I believed that the unit was faulty as it would not adhere. Seemed not to have the scope on the suction pad. BUT after applying a lot of pressure then pulling the arm down the unit is solid, very strong.

Really poor. When this arrived I was happy as it was the perfect size for where I wanted to mount my CarPlay monitor… suction was actually good. I attached it and was happy… went out to my car 2 days later to find the suction pad still attached to my window but the monitor and arm had town off it. Quite literally broken from the weight (and it’s the same size as a sat nav) while the car was stationary the whole time.Pretty poor. I’ve returned the item.

My son lost the original mount for my sat nav but the cheap replacement he bought me was not up to the job. it was therefore with some trepidation that I ordered this mount. I have therefore been delighted that it has performed so well in the several weeks that I have used it since its purchase. The mount stays secure when mounted and is as good as the Garmin original. I strongly recommend you buy this mount as a cheaper alternative to purchasing one from Garmin

It does the Job but you will always need a spare as they are not ver durable,

good purchase when the suction finally fails on your original item.better to buy this than trying to use gorilla tape.D.S.
