Best thing for my skin. Please don’t stop making this product.

The first thing I notice about this product is the smell; it has added fragrance. I don’t think the fragrance enhances the product in any way and in fact detracts from it. I prefer odorless products but will make an exception if the scent is due to natural ingredients (botanicals, etc.) The fragrance is intended to smell like the ocean… I don’t make that connection. What I found is it that after applying the fragrance lingered – my face and hands smelled like it for the entire duration that it was on my skin. I don’t mind if something goes on and then dissipates, but this kind of persistent scent is not something I want in my skin care.As far as overall performance, it does deliver immediate hydration to my skin. It is a clear lightweight gel serum that absorbs moderately quickly into the skin; it does not leave any kind of a tackiness or film to the skin surface. It’s easy to layer under the next step in your skin care regime. I saw noticeable plumping and dewiness; my skin felt moist and hydrated. It is packed with effective ingredients that likely deliver long-term effects, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it long enough to see them. The scent may just be too much for me.

This is a very hydrating serum with a pleasant scent that smells a little bit like the ocean. I do like the fragrance, but find it a bit strong for my taste. I would prefer if the scent were a bit lighter. The serum itself has a gel kind of texture, and it does sink into the skin easily after applied. But it also leaves more of a sense of hydration than the average serum. I'm not sure how to describe it, because it's not oily at all, but it just leaves the feeling that there is still moisture even after the serum has been absorbed. It's not sticky, it just feels extra hydrated. In that way, I would say that this serum is pretty unique. It has a light serum quality and doesn't feel heavy on the skin, but just adds this extra hydration. It's an excellent layer on the skin, particularly if your skin is feeling really dry.

I absolutely adore this serum and it will be my go-to when I need results but I am super torn about the scent. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really pretty scent and not at all obtrusive but it is very potent and it lingers for a while. I’m not a big fan of heavily scented products and truly believe that less is more. I like a more natural scent so this is a bit of a bummer for me. Regardless, the serum is SO good that I cannot warrant taking a star from its rating.First of all, it has NO viscosity. It is clear and is like a drop of water. But the hydration and tightening is instant. Not uncomfortable, just really effective. I use a lot of serums and try and do a preliminary analysis of them right out of the box and then come back for a longer term result. But this one is good enough for me to say 5 stars.The price point is super ouch. I know marine concentrates are a little bit on the pricier side and I have spent thousands on trying to reverse the ravages of time. If anything, Phytomer gives you instant gratification in this regard. I had a friend try it as well and she noticed the same thing.It dries quickly and is tacky at first until it entirely absorbs. During this time, the smell is pretty strong. I have a more sensitive sense of smell and am not a huge fan of heavy perfumes, hence why I keep mentioning it. It takes away from the natural ingredients when you add an unnatural scent, you know?Excellent product. No colors or dyes. Great instant effect but heavy perfumey smell. High price point but you get what you pay for.

I’m actually quite impressed. I’ve only been using the Powerful Hydrating Face Moisturizer Gel for a couple of days, and in the mornings once I apply the gel, I notice my face looking vibrant, healthy and glowing. It actually gives me a new kind of confidence going into each of my days.I have to be very careful what facial products I use because I have extremely sensitive skin. I have had no irritation from this moisturizing gel at all. That’s great news for people with sensitive skin.HOW I USED:I applied a few drops each morning after washing my face but before I put my moisturizer on for the day.That’s all I did, it’s that simple.It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, however, for a professional brand product, that gives exceptional results, I’m going to pay a higher price.DISCLAIMER:📝Yes, I am a VINE 🗣VOICE member. I've enjoyed skincare products in all price ranges. If they work, I can justify paying more for a product. After using this gel serum for over 3 months, I feel like I have a good basis to form an opinion. In short, I do not feel like this product is worth it's cost. I used this serum at night before moisturizer. My skin adapted to it quickly with no redness, burning or irritation. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my feeling tacky. In the morning, however, I didn't notice anymore hydration or glow than had I only applied moisturizer. Other than long term hydration and skin barrier support, I cannot figure out what true benefits this serum offers given its price. I've used serums at less than a quarter of the price with much better results after 3 months of use. I definitely would not reorder this serum and can't recommend it based on my so-so experience. Also, this was not an enjoyable experience using this since the scent is so outrageously strong. I prefer unscented skincare but am usually not bothered by scents, but the scent of this serum is so in your face (literally) that it did not make for a pleasant experience. Disappointing overall.
