Great value
Great all around light. Fits in front hip pocket with included clip very comfortably with very little weight. Lumen levels easily adjusted. Strobe button perfectly located and easy to use. No more double tap

Outstanding all-rounder
I have a couple Streamlights and Olights, but this was my first Nitecore and it's quickly become a favorite. It does everything I need it to do. I carry it running in the dark (mostly off). Then it goes in my bag and comes to work with me. Build quality is excellent. It has a good balance of flood and spot, great throw. Good battery life except on the highest setting. It's easy to toggle through the brightness settings. I don't use the brightest very often, but jeebus it is bright. Yeah, like any similar light it will get hot if you leave it on high a long time.

Outstanding Tactical flashlight
I can't tell you how awesome this tactical flashlight is. Holds a charge for a very long time - it is brighter than most flashlights in it's size - very sturdy, light weight and easy to use. This one goes with me everywhere especially in the mountains - as I am involved in long expeditions. I don't worry about nightfall as this particular flashlight has veritable settings to match the conditions you're working in. I occasionally find mines to explore and because this tactical light has multiple light levels - there's nothing it can't light up. Also - having a strobe feature is a good deterrent to possible bears that, I've seen from time to time in the areas I hike in. A strobe can scare off a bear or at least it helps confuse them in a pinch.

SUPER BRIGHT
Love the flashlight. Super powerful. BRIGHT. It does get HOT when on full power

Bright and easy to operate.
Really bright. Light up the side of a house from the road bright. Jackboots and midnight raid bright... Ok, it's bright, and designed for military/leo use, so no surprise there.Shaped appropriately, no slipping out of gloved hands. All operations performed from the tail cap, so there's no fumbling for a barrel button.Strobe function is easy to turn on, with no cycling thru other functions, and the strobe is bright and attention grabbing.Brightness cycling is easy once the light is on, and Turbo is very bright. One caveat: it's almost too easy to cycle the brightness levels, and since the light defaults to the last level used upon restarting, it sometimes takes a moment to bring it up to full brightness if inadvertent dimming occurs when turning it off previously.Another feature that impressed me is the sprung battery contact. Basically, it's a shock absorber for the battery and circuit board. If you drop the light front down, the spring takes the force of the battery and prevents it from smashing into the circuit board.

Alot of bang for your buck! But...
I like this NC P23i. I got it to have on night walks with my dog and for outdoor activities in the city. I feel that the 3000 LED is more than enough for the average Joe to blind an assailant, leaving them dazed and unfocused. It has a good flood and hot spot for long-range ID. It has a MAX strobe of 3000 Lumens and will absolutely cause eye damage if you're not careful. IP68 (dust/waterproof up to 2m ), drop resistant up to 2m, and run time on ultra low is 45hrs. The Lumen modes are as follows: ultra Low 50/ low 250/ medium 800/ high 1500/ Max 3000. It has two modes (regular/tactical) that can be chosen by twisting the back cap off slightly while pressing the power button. It's USB-C compatible external charging and has a proprietary battery in the light (NL2150HPi. I don't like proprietary batteries and feel like it's a gimmick to keep people buying your product only. It's the same "size" as a 21700 battery but will not work with one (see pic). I think it's an excellent light and has a lot to offer for anyone looking for a "budget" tactical flashlight. I would recommend it for LE, EMS, first responders, and civilian use. I encourage buying a spare battery due to the incompatible proprietary battery in the NiteCore; you won't be able to use anything else in it. It should last a while before needing to be replaced permanently, and due to its rechargeable nature, it makes it easy to keep up with. It will hold a charge for exactly 6 months before needing a recharge if not being used. Overall: 4/5 stars and 8/10 personally.

LAW ENFORCEMENT APPROVED
I use this handheld flashlight for patrol as my duty light. I purchased these coming from a Streamlight Stinger. I saw the price on these and researched the features on YouTube. After having it for 6 months now, I can say that I love this light. It is very bright, multiple brightness settings, strobe feature, they are durable (dropped them multiple times) and definitely can withstand being dunked in water, mine did. I love the fact that you charge this light with a USB Type C cable instead of the old ones. The fact that it comes with a carrying case is a nice addition, but for duty use, I had to get an after market one for my belt.Overall, if you're looking for a tough light that can withstand day to day abuse, then I say give this light a good look. I don't thin you'll be disappointed.
