My second time ordering this marzipan for my husband. He loves it. It was fresh and packaged well

Does not taste fresh but if you want a little taste of marzipan, this product is ok.

good candy at a reasonable price

Reminds me of making marzipan with my German grandmother! These are prettier and a really good price! Marzipan can slowly dry out once the box is open so I suggest putting them in a ziplock. They are sweet so as a kid we would dip ours in dark chocolate. I used to find versions of these around the holidays but never dreamed I’d find them on Amazon and year round😁

I have LOVED marzipan for decades, since I was a little girl. We used store-bought almond paste and food dye to handmake it for my great-grandmother at Christmas. I recently bought my husband a box of this for his birthday, well actually maybe for us to share on his birthday, lol. He has lost around 60 pounds, and it is a great treat that is relatively low in fat and also satisfies your sweet tooth. This was the freshest box of marzipan I have ever had. Needless to say, my family of four went though it pretty fast, so I'm already buying another box tonight. If all their marzipan is this soft and fresh, then they are correct, there is likely no one anywhere in the world who can do it better!*** I have updated this review*** as the box I received today (our 6th!) had little sharp plastic shards all over the candy and underneath some of the pieces as well. I was careful to them all out to not waste the candy, and then there was a shard inside one of my pieces as I ate it, which I promptly pulled out of my mouth. My husband got one that was hiding underneath in the tray as well. So unfortunately, in the trash it goes. Such a shame as the marzipan is so soft, fresh and delicious. I looked at the 1* reviews and a couple of people complained about these plastic shards. Hopefully the company will FIX THE PROBLEM. They have a great product but poor packaging/quality control.

Loved this item made these as a child even tastier and I am over 70 years old!😜
